General Cricket Discussion

So did Biggy's man RTD. There are quite a few overseas players in the tournament it would seem. Nick Compton was also playing.

Lance Klusener too, and English domestic batsman Greg Smith. They've done a good job of getting overseas players to be a part of the tourney. Quite impressive.

Mashonaland Eagles: Andrew Hall, Nick Compton, Chad Keegan, Ryan ten Doeschate
Matabeleland Tuskers: Neil Carter, Paul Horton, Adam Wheater
Mid West Rhinos: Paul Franks, Lou Vincent, Rikki Wessels
Mountaineers Squad: Jonathon Beukes, Lance Klusener, Greg Smith
Souther Rocks: Chris Harris, Brian Lara, Ryan Sidebottom

Interesting mix of overseas players to be honest. Mostly South Africans or English and old players and new players.

Klusener ftw.

The footie channel tenaction showed today's Brian Lara game, he made 23 off 28. I have seen him bat live after such a long time, yay! :D

lol McGrath married again, that's going to make Jane McGrath day a bit awkward for the new Mrs McGrath

All hail the doucheate. Lara has left now though due to 'commitments elsewhere'.

Ellyse Perry became the first woman to play men's grade cricket and took 2/14. God your mates would give you some stick if she got you out.

From what I've read of her speeds she is faster than Peter George at times and quite a few of our other 120km/h bowlers.

So, if the first Ashes test is a draw, seven out of the last eight tests would have been draws. :facepalm
Something has to be done to the pitches they're playing on, as this is just stupid.

7 out of the last 8 Ashes tests draws!? Try 3 (if it is drawn tomorrow).
