Guess it shows that UAE's selection policies probably have to do more with politics than talent if a player potentially good enough for Pakistan has gone unnoticed by them. Although he did apparently represent the UAE A team.

For me it's

Batsmen - Hashim Amla, Ab de Villiers, Sehwag, Sachin, Shane Watson (yeah!), Eoin Morgan, Hussey, Trott (in tests) and Salman Butt ()

Bowlers - Dale Steyn, Swann, Johan Botha.

Shane Watson and Mathews dominate my favourite allrounders.
