General Racing Games

Hope your not talking about toilet trouble:D :D

Edit: Just played GP4 without steering help, I'm a bit rusty having not played it for so long but finally I can get the car to do what I want, Nice to be able to clip the kirbs on the apex and get a bit of a slide on, might start playing the game now.

Nah its not toilet trouble, I am led to believe its just a glitch in the game my pc is more thsn good enough for it anyway. Its only in specific places most of the time too. P4 3200, FX5700LE should run without any trouble. Another problem has popped up now, after updating my graphics drivers in an attempt to get RD to work my GP3 and GP4 have given up. driver rollback here I come!

driver rollback saved my skin. but the TRD glitch has returned, now during the races it randomly freezes and jams. any guys going to get LFS S2 or rFactor?

I got Formula One 2005,and I must say,its better than the crappy 04 version. Its still arcadish, but its lots of fun.Tire Wear is clearly evident and its impossible to control a car with worn out tyres.I play on manual,so the engine blows up a lot of times for me :D

Career mode is really cool,I'm still in my first season, with Red Bull.

Its not a sim(though it tries to be one),but its certainly a fun racing game.

EDIT: Just finised playing a full length Silverstone grand prix, and I'm a bit disappointed...the Minardis and Jordans were lapped 8 times

What annoy's me is I can't drive in the car I want to (McLaren, always have in any F1 game!) and the race to be hard. I'm always atleast a couple of seconds a lap quicker in hard with the McLaren. But apart from that it all feels alot better than 2004. Very happy that the stupid wiggling on a centre axis is gone, that was so annoying!

LOL, at least you guys have found yourself a good "F1" game now. But on the simulation side, you should get LFS S2 for PC, an excellent simulator. You have to try the demo, it really is worth the download.

I'm not sure Mario Kart qualifies :D

Ahem, who told you about the editing business? Who was there for help :P
But I urge you to download the demo, the main thing is GREAT online racing!

Downloading it now!!!

If you get the full version its like buying ToCA Race Driver 2 if you loose your code thingy, and want to re-install you're buggered. Now just to save up cash, get a fast internet connection and buy a LFS license!

Aherm, but isn't it still a racing game? :)
Surely you wouldn't cut out Nintendo's fine attempt at one. :D
Suppose I can't talk, I've got a copy of Micro Machines kicking around somewhere (probably in the attic)
