Story Go Tigers Go - A Bangladesh Story! | ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

've Made Barbados & Beausejour stadiums for C07, and you can use them as they'll be shortly released

Cheers mate, I'll see to it.

Are you gonna cover all groups? I think your main cover should be Group A, and updates on other groups, as you story theme team is on Group A

I'm only going to focus on Group A. Just some updates about other groups on how team standings look like.

Anyways, I'm thinking to post actually same(original) results of other matches as that will save a hell lotta time for me. Will that do?

And, thanks for all the support guys.

It may work, it will be interesting, but you sure you can present that?

Bangla Tigers - A Glory OR A Hole?

That's right! The time has come. ICC World Twenty20 is all set to begin and Bangladesh boys seem confident. They have found themselves in the 'group of death' as they are placed along with defending champions Pakistan and Australia. But, does it matter? No! Just the matter of 40 overs now. Bangla tigers are good enough to play well during the 40 overs.

The question for them is - Will they lead to Glory or will they once again dig themselves in a hole? They themselves are their best help. They have the pedigree and all they need is to stand up and show the world their hidden talent.

On their given day, Bangladesh are the most dangerous side in T20 format. What does it take to turn a T20 match? A solid hard-hitting for a 20 minutes or an economical bowling for 3-4 overs? This is what Bangladeshis can do easily. Their unpredictable nature makes them even more of a threat as other sides don't know what exactly do we have to expect.

Key to Success

Who better than Tamim Iqbal? Dashing left-hand opener is in great form and will hold the key if Bangladesh have to go through. He has many shots in his kitty and along with his all-long improving temperament, he comes as a complete package.

The skipper, Shakib Al Hasan is among the top all-rounders himself. His paupery nature as a bowler and a feel of class a batsman is one to look at. No wonder he can win the games all by himself for his side.

Bangladeshis have the most experienced player in Ashraful. Man who arrived at the international scene like a dream and one for the future has been fading away in the past. 'Fortune favors the brave' is what they say. Mohd. Ashraful is a brave fighter and will hope the fortunes actually do favor him this time round.

Number Game

Bangladesh won the 3 of their first four T20 Internationals. Though, in the last ten games they had to say the face of defeat.
Tamim Iqbal averages just over 13 in T20 games while Ashraful has only one fifty to his name.

Bring it then, as Bangladeshi players leave to the Caribbean Islands to live their dream.

Shakib Al Hasan addresses the media after reaching the Caribbean.

If we consider the form that the Pakistan team has been in from the past few months, Bangladesh stand a chance here. But Pakistan is still a dangerous team in T20s.

I know the Bangladeshis are likely to make it but it is likely that it is in expense of Pakistan

Tbh, I am thinking it aint a great Idea after all, I mean its no point updating this part where we all know what actually happened. I think maybe you should sim the game and post your summary on it. Cuz this update seemed pointless, I mean we all know what happened.

It may sound a bit harsh, but I think its best for the story if I come out with my true opinion. :)

Yeah, thank you for clearing that. Much appreciated. I'll state my reason for not simming the other games. Actually, I've to go away for like 2 weeks on 11th May. So, I wanted to get away with all these games quickly. I've the Afghanistan V India match ready as well. So, what I'll do now is post that as it is. Then comes Bangladesh's match which will have everything (Hopefully Ahad releases his Kits soon). After that, I'll sim the other games as well like you suggested.

Agree with BKB. But now as you have mentioned the reason behind you posting real match scorecards,It makes sense. Writing is good as usual,Keep it up.

Nice Update!!

KIU.. Do whatever you want as it's always going to be great!!

IMO, this one is good! Other than Bangla Matches, it'll be good if you put the original matches as calculating Net runrate and mostly the originality of matches stands (Ofcourse, you keep it on when you sim or play the match).

I felt bored after reading the same match report again. But the presentation made it up for that!

You know what you could do? Just open this score cards on paint and edit em!
