Good fun to watch but it was practically a 1 man race with Alonso having a massive lead and with 3rd over 20 secs behind 2nd it wasn't gonna be that close. Button was an amazing surprise blowing up a few meters from the line, M. Schumacher was a big surprised not coming in the top 5 and Webber too.

Speed and Sato have penalties.Speed= passing under yellows +swearing at fellow competitor (probably Coulthard).Sato ignoring blue flag.

mclaren spoilt their chances due to their pit stop during the security car.
both the cars got in and poor montoya had to wait for 15 sec to get his turn.
otherwise both the mclarens cud have been on the podium.
(montoya wud have been under less pressure, hence might not have gone wide on the turn)

Montoya went wide due to UnderSteer.

The problem with the pitstop was a part of Kimis front wing not fixing as fast as it should've done.

Ralf drove a great race!

I would say that the safety car spoilet McLarens chances, they had no choice but to pit both drivers,or lose even more places.Raikkonen was ahead and therefore had priority, and unfortunately the wing change affected Montoya. Can't really say that he wouldn't have made the mistake if he wasn't under pressure.Montoya's spun before(on this track)whilst leading the race by a long way.Its something he's famous for.

Montoya is so overrated, yes when he's on form he's as fast as anyone, but:

1) It only happens every 4 races.
2) When he is quick he can muck it up, remember last season when he spun in front of Alonso?
3) It never seems to count.

I'd say the saftey car actually helped McLaren, Alonso would have been way in the distance had the saftey car not kept bunching the field up. Imagine the time Kimi would have lost had he had to have a nose change under racing conditions and Montoya only lost a couple of places while queuing, its much better to queue than to go around again as you end up right at the back in those cases.

I am not a fan of Rubens but I dont think we can judge Rubens pace clearly now. He surely is having some problems because he was as quick as Jenson in winter testing. But he has to perform now or the team will give all the attention to Jenson and Rubens will complain that same bla bla which he used to do when he was at Ferrari.

He have started it.He blamed Michellin tyres and the car's traction control for his poor start of the season.Don't you think he should have blamed none but himself for his poor start? To me,he should have.Had there really been a problem, then Button couldn't have put up such a strong performance in most cases.

Overall that was one race to forget about. People driving way course, too much aggression, practically a 1 man race and just disasterous.

 If you call that boring, I dread to think what you'd call the 2002 and 2004 seasons! It's great to see some agression back in the sport. Conditions certainly had quite abit to do with the number of incidents in the race though, I've not seen F1 cars struggling with so little grip for a long time!

Jeez, what more do u want?U don't happen to be a Ferrari supporter?coz then it would be a race to forget.

SanMarino Grand Prix is next.I hope Honda have their first win here.Button looks great this season.Very unnfortunate at Albert Park for him.He deserved a podium.Hope he wins this one. However, Honda have very little chance to be competitive in Constructor's Championship unless Rubens performs really well.
