When is the next race? I am really into this right now. It should be really interesting to see who end up as the winner.

The next race is on the upcoming weekend to be held at Suzuka.

The timings are as follows:

Qualifying:10:23 a.m. (IST)
Race:10:30 a.m. (IST)

Thank you kuttakumar, for clearing that up! reps are heading your way!

In Practice,

Michael Schumacher (Ger) 1:34.565
Fernando Alonso (Spa) Renault 1:34.863

Wow.. :happy this is turning out to be close and exciting contest in Japan!!! Massa also doing well....

To me, the worst part of the practice time-sheets was that Rubens achieved the unlucky 13th spot in the last of the three Hondas.:(

Don't take much notice of practice times, they're usually testing the cars different setups out. Quali 2 is where you'll see who has the pace.

Well I dont think anyone would have thought that would happen. A Schumacher engine failure, his first since Indy in 2001. Thats one thing almost all the teams need to improve upon if they are to overtake Ferrari, reliability. Its also why the engine freeze is such a bad idea.

Looking forward to the final GP in 2 weeks time. At least I wont have to get up only moments after going to bed to watch this one ;)

Apparently Bernie called Suzuka "An old house" on the grid prior to the race. I wasn't quite up then, anyone confirm it?

Yep, thats what he said. I haven't been there myself so I can't say if its true or not :p

While I'll miss Suzuka next year, it is a track where you can't really overtake hopefully fuji will be an improvement on that front (although the decision has obviously been made on a commercial front not a track/facility front).

Why was Fisichella so emotional in the podium? He didn't even spray the champegne.
His best friend passed away a few days ago.

Fate played with Schumi!!! But it all happens in sports....Hope to see atleast a win in his last race of his career!!!
