The most scary thought is Takuma Sato in amongst the midfield again!

Hey it's not such a bad thing! Specatators want action, and if a crazed kamikaze pilot wiping out half the field brings that action maybe the silly wing won't be needed ;).

Ferrari for constructors, and Kimi for drivers!

Almost same view as mine though I was backing up Massa.. Anyways, I expect a Ferrari domination this season.

From the time i started watching this F1, the greatest competetion was when Montoya & Ralf from BMW, David & Kimi from McLaren, Rubens & Schumi from Ferrari were fighting like anything for points.

After that, competetion started fading.. last season, It was only Schumi & Alonso.... and this season, from the way it looks, only Ferrari seems to be strong on papers... So somehow feel less excited and thrilled.

Getting close now, only 6 and a bit days to go. Mind you it's a three o clock morning start in upside down world so I won't be watching it live.

Well from the qualifying, Kimi to start his first race in Ferrari from first position
Code:
1 Raikkonen 1:26.072
2 Alonso 1:26.493
3 Heidfeld 1:26.556

I forgot about this Australian GP and just now saw in F1 website.

Minute 34
Massa pulls off track and hops out of the Ferrari.

Meanwhile, the flag gets ready to come down. Honda and Williams in danger. Meanwhile, Alonso is picking up his pace around Albert Park.

Minute 33
Massa's Ferrari drastically slows down to a halt. Problems for the Brazilian?

What happened to Massa? Anyone saw the qualifying session?

It would be an interesting race.Lets see who wins this one.I just got a feeling that Alonso will win tomorow.

And from the point of view of a Honda supporter, two reasons to be disappointed.

None of the Hondas qualifying in the top 10:eek:
The two Honda powered Aguris are ahead of the two factory team drivers.

Gearbox died.

Maybe Honda should have given its new car to Super Aguri, rather than the old one! Unless Ferrari have reliability problems, which is quite possible given they've hardly been bullet proof throughout the winter and in Oz, I see Raikkonen winning fairly comfortably. Final mention goes to Lewis Hamilton for a promising and composed start to his career.

Prediction:
1. Raikkonen
2. Alonso
3. Heidfeld
4. Hamilton
5. Kubica
6. Massa
7. Fisichella
8. Webber

I watched the whole thing. Nice start by Raikkonen. I believe it was his gearbox that failed in the 2nd Qualifyer for Massa. Looks like Ferrari have some work to do. I believe that Raikkonen is not happy with the handling of the car.

oh no not again... :( Ferrari had to sort out soon in this issue. I remember well that Schumi was also not happy with the car before.. and if the same thing continues this season also...... hmm hope not to! lets see what happens in this race! ;)

I believe Kimi can do it and Massa can try his level best to come up.

If he's not happy then the other teams should be very worried!!

Yes he was, although some people seem convinced that Raikkonen hasn't been pushing as hard as he could, but I don't think that has been the case. He's moved to a new team, has been driving on Michelin tyres since 2003 and it's a completely different environment to that of McLaren. It's going to take some time to adjust, same for Alonso.

Yep, you could hear Kimi on TV talking about it on the team radio after coming in to pit after the last lap he did.

Completely forgot about this one.
