i am hoping rosberg goes to mclaren, hes a kid with huge potential and mclaren can help him on his way

him and hamilton would be an awesome combination

Its difficult to predict how Mclaren will do next season? First they need to prove to the FIA that their car has no Ferrari type intelligence and material in their cars. Thats going to be extremely difficult, and imo they'll have to make a completely new car to convince the bosses.

Reliability was always as issue at Mclaren until this season, and if they do develop a new car, it might once again creep back in. Also Hamilton dint have much pressure when he started the season, but come next year, a lot will be expected of him, since he will be the number one driver for his team.

Dont know where Alonso will go with huge financial backing, but the team that makes the most out of this split is obviously Ferrari, and I see Raikkonen or Massa winning the title next season as well.

To be honest, it'll be harder for the FIA to prove that McLaren are using any Ferrari intellectual property on their car as you couldn't just take bits from a Ferrari, bolt them to a McLaren and expect them to work, the entire car is designed as a package. Its not like the old days when Lotus developed sidepods but convinced everyone that it was the high wings that were making them fast - result everyone bolted high wings to their cars, it just doesn't work like that these days.

He left Mclaren today and is free to join another team.

It seems that Red Bull is very keen to sign him up.

nah, webber at mclaren

What happened to Pedro de la Rosa ?
He did race for Mclaren in the 2006 season, when one of their drivers was injured.

Its Ferrari all the way, next season! :)

Ok, i have a small doubt. I left following F1 for sometime. But, i did noticed some news about V.Rossi ( Bike racer ) switching to F1, Ferrari long time back. Rossi had test-driven with the Ferrari F1 team also. What happened to this lately? This just became a dream? Anyone have any idea about this..

I do not know the exact reasons.
But FIAT still supports Rossi-you can see the FIAT logo on Rossi.

Now Renault have been accused of spying on McLaren.

With Mclaren found Guilty and now this (not to mention the allegations, that seem to have been largely ignored, that Ferrari had similar documents to Mclaren) I wonder if you actually looked hard enough that you would find out that most teams have data from their rivals.

Rosberg isn't moving.

Webber and Hamilton should make a good combination.
And some good news for Indian fans-Karun Chandok has been asked to test for Red Bull Racing.
Lets hope all goes well for him.
I have always thought highly of him and rate him higher than Narain Karthikeyan.Among Indians,Armaan Ebhrahim is also there, but many still consider him as too young.

ITVF1 pointed our (Martin Brundle iirc) that many stuff is 'knowledge' within the pits. Ie, Renault starting system last season, etc. I don't think the current system works, I don't know what I'd do to resolve it though.

The news is that Mclaren have lost thier appeal. The one which was related to the last race of the series.

Well the FIA have found Renault guilty of breaching F1 regulations by having rival team McLaren data in their possession.

The punishment...Nothing.

Details of why there was no punishment is to be published tomorrow.

The most interesting thing I find is that Renault possessed 11 floppy disks containing info on McLaren's fuelling system, gear assembly, oil cooling system, hydraulic control system and a novel suspension component used by the 2006 and 2007 McLaren cars. FLOPPIES!!!!!! I thought F1 was supposed to be hi-tech!
