hamilton has said it would be terrible for the sport if the decision is overturned, and hes right, i hope mclaran withdraw their appeal as its making them look desperate. Kimi deserves the title, nes been very consistant for the last 5 or so races and had no pressure as everyone thought it was either Lewis of Alonso.
next year is going to be even better!

yeah lets hope we see a few more teams step up to the plate and challenge for wins, ie. BMW, Renault. but i would like to see all teams challenging fo rwins but that won't happen. lets hope webber does better next season and hope he can get a better car. but if you sign webber you are also signing reliability issues unfortunately.
my prediction for the future is Kimi most successful driver ever 8 world titles

I dont think McLaren should drop the appeal, as I think it's unlikely that the drivers will get excluded. Most likely outcome is a fine. There is president for this, a few years back samples of fuel were found to be different to the control sample (I think this was also at Brazil) Initially the drivers concerned lost their points but were later given them back, only constructors points were taken away. On that occasion there was no performance advantage to the drivers. This is slightly different as there is an advantage to using chilled fuel as it becomes more dense so you can basically get more in the tank.

So let this be a lesson to everyone, when you fill your car up with fuel do it at night, you get more for your money :)

As for teams challenging next year. BMW will probably begin to snap at the heals of Mclaren and Ferrari but thats really the only team I can see really challenging the top two. Red Bull can't be discounted either but I think they are not quite ready. I really dont see Renault getting anywhere near unless they end up with Alonso driving for them. Toyota just look to be chucking money down the drain and I wonder if the bosses in Japan will look towards strengthening their partnership with Williams in the future as it will certainly turn out to be a cheaper option for them.

It's hard to tell, this time last season would we know that McLaren would have had the best cars until the last 2 races when their strategists went doolally?

yeh that was confirmed ages ago in a way i am glad raikkonen won he deserves to be the best he is a great driver and hamilton has many great years in front of him

McLaren needs to drop their appeal.
The chance that they will triumph is less.
This is beacause Hamilton still had a lap to go.

Another thing is that it will show Mclaren in poor light if they win.

As far as the next season is concerned-
The night Grand Prix has to be the best thing to happen to F-1
Also it is a street race-i'm off to Singapore for that.

Btw,status of the Japanese GP,where is it going to be held ?
Suzuka ? I heard that FIA struck a deal with Toyota to alternate between the races.

Well there were a couple of us that were predicting that McLaren would have great pace well before the season started last year ;)

That would have nothing to do it with it. If Rosberg, Heidfeld and Kubica were disqualifed they would be completely removed from the race results. Despite my support of McLaren and Hamilton, I hope they aren't disqualified though, it would be a farcical end to a farcical season.

Yup, although I don't think the drivers should be punished. It was the teams mistake, a fine is the appropriate punishment, like McLaren were fined for using 2 sets of wets. That was 15k Euros, this is slightly worse imo, so about 25k Euros.

Mclaren-well they have got one great driver with them. They can stil lwin it next time round.
I hope they really kick out Fernando Alonso....Ohh,I hate that guy...

Btw,where is Ralf Schumacher headed ?

The latest that I have on next season is that Rubens Barichello will be demoted to Honda's second team,i.e, The Super Aguri.
