Guitar thread

Same. They have lots of Red Hot Chili Pepper tabs. They are all pretty good as well.

I have just started learning a few months ago. Play a metal string one when at class, but have a nylon one at home. Prefer a nylon one, easier to play faster on it as you don't have to hit the strings as hard or hold them down as tight.

And playing a good guitar is a LOT easier. Played one at my friends house, horribly out of tune, I sounded terrible :(

I missed a trick.

I really should have learnt to play an instrument, when i was younger.

Now i don't have the willpower and it seems too late.

This makes me sounds so old, the reality is, im 15 :p

Nah 15 isn't too old, you just need a decent tutor, BUT i'd suggest, with you going into last year of high school? that you leave it if you wanted to ;) just a bit of advice ;)

The biggest problem in picking up an instrument later in life is that you tend to have less time to practice.

When I was 12/13 I could spend all day playing now I rarely get 30 mins.

Shoot! I was just about to start a thread like this last week...oh well, this is cool!
I didn't think soo many people played guitar here...well a few maybe, but this is cool!
I play guitar, been playin acoustic for a year or so, but only chords, didnt know how to read tabs back then, n Jan this year, bought a Kramer Focus VT-211s which is a rockin 1st electric guitar, and a Line 6 Spider III 15...which shakes the windows of my house from its 8" speaker...which is pretty awesome

Can anyone give any advice on how to play Asus2/G (3x2200) :p?

Hold down fret 3 with your ring finger, and mute string A with it as well, and then plant your index and middle finger on the 2nd frets of string D n G
Thats it...if you were serious on wanting to know:p:)

3x2200 basically means freestyle. As long as the high B and E strings are open, and the low E string is on the third fret, do what you like with the other three. Nobody really cares. D and G being on the 2nd fret is preferable, but who's going to put you in prison for using a bit of artistic license?
