In my opinion, the first book(Philosopher's Stone) was the most glorious and brilliant of all the books in the series. And I already preordered the Deathly Hallows from Amazon Canada, and they reassured a release day delivery for it. :D

I didnt read the last book, but the first four are pretty good! i might buy this new one, duno yet! I thought there will be 7 books, e.g 7 years of school??

Mate IMO it only get good from Half-Blood prince, the first four were just starters.

Well i cant comment on the 5th book, as i havent read it!

The Fifth book if a great book. The series has to be read in full for anyone to really understand the genius of the harry Potter books.Love em,and i can't wait to start reading!

In my opinion, the fifth of the worst one out of the brilliant series. There hasn't been many important aspect discovered in this book-besides the very imporant prophecy about Harry and Voldemort, and Sirius Black's death (but I think he will play an important part in the upcoming book). Besides this, throughout the book, Harry Potter has been an arrogant, blustering young boy-extremely negatively affected by his ongoing puberty and misunderstood throughout the novel.

SO i need to read the 5th, to understand the new one right?

1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
2. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
3. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
4. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
5. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
6. Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince
7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

That would make this the final book, and I didn't realise that at all! I thought it was the sixth! I read in the paper that bookies think Harry will commit suicide in the final book and I thought "well it's a bit early to be taking bets on that". It's only a week before release!

The 3rd and 4th books were the best.

Yup the word is that Harry has to kill himself to kill voldemort and make the world safe.

O sorry i got confused...i have read the 5th, and its the sixth i havent read..

Are you talking about the rumour that states that Harry himself is a horcrux, and in order to completely vanquish Voldemort- he will need to kill himself as well??? Well, that's a pretty reasonable theory, but in my opinion, I don't believe Rowling would do anything like that. (And her comment to kill of all the main characters to stop any further publlishing of the series was also bogus in my opinion ;))

How could she write any other books...there are 7 years in someones school life...what is Harry gonna become the Hogwarts caretaker next year or something?
