Hedger's Roster Downloads (Full and Final Patch Released)

New Zealand are going to eat them? I wondered why Jesse Ryder was a bit tubby, now I know - he eats all the domestic players..

lol that was my first thought as well :laugh

Both of them along with Johannes Myburgh still have over a year so I don't think there is much point changing them now. Though it would make NZ a bit more balanced.

Paul Harris, Morne Morkel, Johan Botha etc. are rated just fine at around 640-660 so that is fine. Now that is all done. I will now release the full patch in a few minutes.

Hi Hedger

When u made patch for india,

i think u reduced the batting rating of gambhi from around 1900 to about 1600.

just look at his career after 2013, r u sure u have made the change properly....

and one more request, i still fill that u need to improve the batting rating of MS Dhoni, dont u feel so atleast after the current series going on........

Reply Soon.........................

I think I did. I might have not pressed apply to Gambhirs new rating. Just use the editor to find out but it might be a bit hard now since it would have surely either increased or decreased.

Hi Hedger

U didnt commented anything on the query regarding MS Dhoni in the previous post.......

Surprised not to see Botha in the squad as he has a better bowling rating than Harris. But I guess form might be a factor and they only want to play 1 spinner. van der Merwe and Wayne Parnell would be close to the squad but just outside for the time being.

1st ODI:

Conditions: Sunny all day, good for batting, not much help for both seam and spin, fast outfield.

Australia Squad:

1. Shaun Marsh
2. Shane Watson
3. Ricky Ponting *
4. Michael Clarke
5. Mike Hussey
6. Brad Haddin (wk)
7. James Hopes
8. Mitchell Johnson (!)
9. Nathan Hauritz
10. Nathan Bracken (2)
11. Peter Siddle

South Africa Squad:

1. Graeme Smith (c)
2. Herschelle Gibbs
3. AB de Villiers
4. Jacques Kallis
5. Ashwell Prince
6. Neil McKenzie
7. Mark Boucher (wk)
8. Albie Morkel
9. Morne Morkel
10. Paul Harris
11. Dale Steyn

Brett Lee rested. Warner and Ferguson unlucky to miss out on a spot in the starting XI. Surprised not to see Duminy in the squad and McKenzie in instead.

South Africa win the toss and elect to bowl.

Not a quick start for Australia and Shaun Marsh was taking most of the strike. Steyn struck in the 8th over to get rid of Watson for 6 off 11. Ponting made a good start was dismissed for 24 off 21, caught de Villiers at short leg off Kallis. Harris was taking a bit of stick and had conceded 40 runs in 4 overs. Marsh had passed fifty now. The run rate went above six as the batting powerplay was taken and 18 runs were scored off the first over of the powerplay while Albie Morkel was bowling. Marsh finally went LBW to Harris for 93 off 84 but it was 159/3. Morne Morkel struck with the wicket of Hussey for 10. Albie Morkel took the wicket of Clarke next over for 54 and it was Haddin and Hopes who were at the crease now. Haddin had a slog and had reached 31* in 22 balls. Hopes went for 16 though, caught behind off Kallis. Kallis struck again a bit later with the wicket of Haddin for 58 off 43. Hauritz and Johnson were at the crease now, Johnson on 28* off 20. 8 overs were remaining. Hauritz went for a duck. Johnson was run out for 63 off 40 and it was 345/9 after 48.5 over's. Siddle went first ball. So we finished with 345, a very good total.

Marsh - 93 off 84
Johnson - 63 off 40
Haddin - 58 off 43
Clarke - 54 off 51

Kallis - 3/64 off 10
Steyn - 2/69 off 10
A Morkel - 2/87 off 10
M Morkel - 1/55 off 10
Harris - 1/70 off 9

Very good effort their, maybe Johnson still a bit overrated with the bat?

I did put him down a bit. He did play and miss a few though and I had him on all but 2 bars most of his innings.
