Player Watch:
Shaun Marsh - What an innings to continue his great form. 115 off 56 balls isn't easy but he made it look so easy hitting 13 four's and 5 sixes. He hit Morne Morkel for many runs but it was his brother Albie who got the wicket of the big hitter. He has now scored 274 runs in the 3 matches so far in the series.
Mike Hussey - So close to another century but was left on 91* at a run a ball. He had a bad start by running the 2 series debutents, Ferguson and Voges out for low scores but his partnerships with Haddin and Johnson took Australia to over 350 made up for it. He worked hard for his runs only hitting 7 boundaries, all fours in his innings.
Peter Siddle - Was outstanding with the ball taking 4 wickets with the ball. He got the ball to swing early on and even later in his second spell, resulting in 3 LBW dismissals.
Neil McKenzie - A good innings from 65*, coming off 56 balls. It went in vein though as South Africa lost wickets at regular intervals and fell well short of their target.
Jacques Kallis - Was very economical only conceding 40 runs from his ten overs including 1 maiden. He kept it tight keeping the runs down but he was not able to take any wickets and not getting to close to the wickets either. Also scored 34 runs with the bat.
Albie Morkel - Although expensive, he took 3 crucial wickets, the wickets of Marsh for 115, the wicket of Ponting for 60 and Haddin for 47. He finished with 3/89 from his ten overs but his wickets stopped Australia from scoring 400+.
