Hedger's Roster Downloads (Full and Final Patch Released)

I'm just wondering as I don't really know much about the ratings, but is their really that much point on changing players ratings like 20 points?

e.g. "Bowling rating ^ to 1020 from 1048"

Will that make much difference?

To be honest, it wouldn't make much difference. I just change them if they're way off like more than 50 or so. If they're in the general vicinity of where I think they should be then I just leave them.

OK I've made my Australian changes. I'm not as generous as you are Hedger for some of the bowlers but the Australian's still have better stats than the NZers, especially the batsmen. I did make all the Australian spinners better haha, its now better to have a spinner than to play Cameron White and bowl him part time...

On first glance those seem to be pretty accurate to where I think they should be. The only change I would make is make Tendulkar slightly higher and Dhoni slightly lower.

How is Laughlin, McKay and a whole lot of others better than Hauritz.

hedger_14 added 13 Minutes and 56 Seconds later...

I have now finished updating the Australian big patch with Chewie's NZL updates but I have not changed everyone there as I don't agree with a few of them. I have also put Tim Paine's batting up to 1276 and Steven Smith's batting up to 1055 and his bowling up to 889 as well as Chris Hartley's batting up to 1190 and changed him to an opening keeper batsman as well as putting Brett Dorey's bowling down to 712 and Aaron Bird's bowling up to 840 and Burt Cockley's bowling down to 739. I will release the updated patch sometime.

Hi Chewie And Hedger

Where the changes were needed, i think i have made it..........

for eg. gambhir made by hedger was having batting points around 1700 which i changed to around 1590 or so.............

U cant reduce the players rating below 1615 who has been world no 1 in icc ranking for 9 months or so...............
especially when u have M Clarke rated 1705 or so.............

Tendulkar may be increased to around 1600 at max, not more than that....

Thanxxxxxx again for considering..................:happy

3rd ODI

Australia:
In: Shane Watson, Callum Ferguson, Adam Voges, Peter Siddle
Out: David Warner, James Hopes, Michael Clarke, Nathan Bracken

South Africa:
In: Makhaya Ntini
Out: Dale Steyn

Player Watch:

Shaun Marsh - What an innings to continue his great form. 115 off 56 balls isn't easy but he made it look so easy hitting 13 four's and 5 sixes. He hit Morne Morkel for many runs but it was his brother Albie who got the wicket of the big hitter. He has now scored 274 runs in the 3 matches so far in the series.

Mike Hussey - So close to another century but was left on 91* at a run a ball. He had a bad start by running the 2 series debutents, Ferguson and Voges out for low scores but his partnerships with Haddin and Johnson took Australia to over 350 made up for it. He worked hard for his runs only hitting 7 boundaries, all fours in his innings.

Peter Siddle - Was outstanding with the ball taking 4 wickets with the ball. He got the ball to swing early on and even later in his second spell, resulting in 3 LBW dismissals.

Neil McKenzie - A good innings from 65*, coming off 56 balls. It went in vein though as South Africa lost wickets at regular intervals and fell well short of their target.

Jacques Kallis - Was very economical only conceding 40 runs from his ten overs including 1 maiden. He kept it tight keeping the runs down but he was not able to take any wickets and not getting to close to the wickets either. Also scored 34 runs with the bat.

Albie Morkel - Although expensive, he took 3 crucial wickets, the wickets of Marsh for 115, the wicket of Ponting for 60 and Haddin for 47. He finished with 3/89 from his ten overs but his wickets stopped Australia from scoring 400+.

My ratings for the Aussies are a bit lower than Hedger's being a kiwi :P

I don't rate Hauritz that highly, though i suppose he should be ahead of Laughlin and Mckay... he is rated far ahead of the other Australian spinners though. I also find that spinners can be rated lower and still pick up decent wicket hauls.

I think I have overrated Marsh a bit. The other players that scored runs are some of the best Australian batsman and it's just Marsh's high strike rate of above 200 that gave Australia 350 compared to 280-300.
