Help created player and teams

Hi, I am having problems with putting a created player into a team (not career and am on PS4).

I created a player and wanted to play a competition and then insert my player into Australia. Sure this could be done in DBC14 but can't for the life of me work out how to do in DBC17.

You need to go to the Team Manager inside the Teams section of the Cricket Academy, and then select the team you want to add your player to, then choose Manage Squad then Add Players.

You have to first save your created player in the academy. Then add him from the team manager.

Thanks for that but I have created and saved the player. They appear in the all players and my players sections but I cannot add them to ant teams.
