Hindi Cinema Discussion

I have almost forgotten that there is a Hindi cinema.

And that is not surprising at all. The film-makers don't want to take a risk by releasing their movies during the cricket carnival.

But I am not worried at all, 'Shinchan in Bungle in the Jungle' is here to entertain me! :D

Watched F.A.L.T.U yesterday with friends and enjoyed. The concept was highly unrealistic, but the theme of the movie was good. The actors did a splendid job, all of them were superb. It was good to see Arshad Warsi in a different role.

The actress, Puja Gupta is simply too hot, she looks stunning in the film. I hope she has a successful career in Bollywood.

Overall, the film was good, even though highly unrealistic, I enjoyed it. Surely not a 'must watch' kind of film, but if you have some free time and are wondering what to do with friends, go for this move, it will keep you entertained.

I will rate it 2.7 on 5.

Because the story was pretty unrealistic. You can't expect 4 friends building up an entire college with proper infrastructure and related stuff without a healthy amount.

That's fine but the truth lies on the fact that each and every movie in India is unrealistic especially comic based movies.

From what you said it seems like a rip off of the movie Accepted[2006].

He is partially right. Most recent comedies have been incredibly unrealistic. Golmaal 3 and TMK, for instance. Although the same can't be cited regarding the older comic movies, like Bhagam Bhag or Golmaal - Fun Unlimited.

* Can you think of a husband and wife who are deaf and are living in the same house. I don't think so?

* Can you imagine that 4 outsiders reach heir house and they don't even no.

*Ajay Devgan speaks and Sharman Joshi is recognised? Impossible.
------

If we talk about Bhagam Bhag it is also an unrealistic movie, if you have seen the very last part of the movie.

But we cannot deny the fact these all movies have made us laugh and we do not care that they are realistic or not.

Well then I'd just say that comedies aren't supposed to be realistic, if they would be, they wouldn't be funny and wouldn't evoke mirth from the viewers.

Though I agree that most of the recent Indian comedies have been a pile of crap, they are rather over-comic which isn't funny at all.

People sadly have forgotten lighter ways of making people laugh. Some of the movies, No. 1 series of Govinda were also really good and made the people laugh in a much better way and a much better language.

Nowadays, it is some stupid jokes. They should really take inspiration from Taarak Mehta, the only show probably which makes people laugh without stupidity. The 'so called' comedy shows are just pathetic.

I completely agree with this. Taarak Mehta has been running for 2 years now and still the comedy in the show is of high class. Not only Taarak Mehta, even Khichri was a good comedy show and who can forget Hum Paanch. There have been some good comedy shows and films but then some have been very poor. I do agree a bit with Aditya1 but I'd also say what Varun said, that if a comedy movie is realistic, it cant make us laugh.
