Wanted was actually a good departure from the 'too mushy and girly romantic entertainers' that have infested Bollywood. Even the Dhoom series (inspiration from Hollywood) was adapted according to the Yash Raj style of film making (it looks mushy and with the Bollywood frills). 'Wanted' was a pure masala and action film after a long time in Bollywood and it worked big time. Ghajini and Wanted (both South remakes) are like a whiff of fresh air to Bollywood who have dumped such masala action flicks sometime back even though such flicks can still be made with a little more realism and class.
