We've been having a record heatwave here in Australia this summer so it's made wonder. What is the hottest temperature you've played cricket in?

For me it would be the mid 40s Celsius

Thing about it was we had provisions in the playing conditions where we could have an extra drinks break. Taking it every 12 overs rather at the 18 over mark in a 35 Over match. Suffice it to say I was filthy about it.

I have played much in temperature around 35-40c which we generally have during June-July in Lahore.Hard to play in that temperature for me.Can't imagine to play in mid 40s :noway Mostly we play from August to March when we don't have high temperatures

I've played cricket in 45-50 C in Kuwait , I remember I was melting at that time .

Some place a 40 is hotter than another places 40. In the Highveldt we played cricket in temps where the tar melted in the road. Then the temps was around 35.

If playing in a school ground counts, I've played at around 42 degrees. Surprisingly, it wasn't as hot climate as say in 37-40 degrees. We played for the best part of the afternoon and were all drenched in sweat. Though we enjoyed playing that day, me and many of my mates could barely run at the end of it. I had a tough next day. I still remember the pain in my legs I felt the next day.

I live in England, and 20 C is quite a bit here. But when I go on holiday in Pakistan I have played in 30C but it kills you, too painful and need a soft drink after.

43 degrees is the max in which I have played, though it was tennis ball cricket. Not much difference between say 35-36 or 40+ though.

Probably around 30-35 degrees in Fiji, only because I was on holiday and some of the guests there at the resort I was staying at had a game of cricket, but it didn't really feel that hot at the time.

45 to 50 C,Very Warm Temperature in Kuwait,and Also i Play better in 40 To 50C.

I think it must have been around 40 tops in the Amazon, Peru last summer, where we had a little game on a sand deposit. But it was probably a bit less because the humidity makes it feel a lot warmer I think.

I can't remember exactly how hot it was, but I played against Coggeshall 3s last season in late-May and it was a cloudless, windless day. Sun was beating down like I've never felt before! I fielded for 45 overs in it, then batted another 30 and walked into my first day at a new job with the brightest face you've ever seen on a human being two days later!
