How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

I love the challenge of a county season. Various counties have strengths when starting off. Leicestershire tend to have good seamers, when I play with them. Try and produce seaming wickets, it makes the match more even and you give yoruself a bigger chance of winning.

I'm currently with Sussex. We've got good seamers, but the batting is very short. After about 3-4 seasons, you'll start to build your own team up through transfers, etc.

Improving a lot as Bangladesh. We are almost unbeatable at home now in ODIs. Knocked off Australia 2-1 after winning first two games and then England 2-1.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka produced another freak regen spinner alongside Mendis, making an unbelievable spin duo.

Mendis averages 17 in test matches and 16 in ODIs with the ball.. whilst Vithana (new regen offspinner) averages 18 in first class and about 21 in tests.

Scary.

Sameera Vithana | Sri Lanka Cricket | Cricket Players and Officials | Cricinfo.com

is this guy the person you're talking about.
Anyway, in my Bangladesh save. I'm trying to save the match against WI after drawing the first test. They made 573 all out after being like 3/30. Dwayne Bravo hit like 160 at #6 i think and Baugh made 100 at #8. I then got bowled out for 138, Iqbal topscoring with 52 and getting out last. I have been asked to follow on and im 21/0 after 19 over's setting my batsman to 0 aggression bars. I still have to survive 4 full sessions and 1hr 45 minutes of the fourth day, second session and it could have been more if rain didn't stop play for a full session on the first day.

getting closer. 135/0 after 105 over's. The funny thing is that Dwayne Bravo and Darren Bravo opened the bowling when Darren Bravo is not a bowler and Dwayne Bravo doesn't normally open the bowling. Darren Bravo bowled the second over of the day and thats it. Their most expensive bowler has been Juggernauth who has gone at like 1.6 an over.

I have deleted the game, could not win for the life of me. Will try my luck with AC09 now

Oh.. Vithana isn't a regen, I just presumed because I'd never seen him before, I didn't really check his personal stats.

Oh well, he's pro anyway. Him and Mendis destroy my lineups.

Hmarka.. it's not that hard to win. Get youth players, build them up with technique training, and then just play. Really, I don't think it's worth deleting a game you have bought..

I have developed a fairly good FC batting strategy which works well with Bangladesh. I start the batsmen on one bar, and when their confidence moves past the second last bar at the end (it's kinda confusing, but the confidence starts to go slightly green and the metre fills past the equivalent on the aggression bar) I move them to two bars. When the metre fully reaches the end and goes green, I move them to three. Then, if the red line goes down two bars I move them up again. Sounds confusing as hell, but works quite well for me - I posted 561 against Pakistan recently with that.

Also developing a nice regen opener - H Anjum. He is quite aggressive and averages 30 in tests and 35 in ODIs at the age of 22.

I took both England and Pakistan to 2015, both ended up being the bottom ranked teams in the world! in all formats!

i always start my Bangladesh batsman on 1 bar otherwise they get out for less than 10. I normally keep them on 1 until they're nearly full confidence then move them up to 2 and keep them there. Getting closer to the draw. I'm on 211/0 after 142 over's. Nafees is on 71* off 417 balls and Iqbal is on 116* off 443 balls.
3:22 pm, Final Day

managed to draw only losing 3 wickets. Iqbal got out for 162 off 557 on the last ball of the day. I can't be bothered taking a screenshot. Nafeez also got 72 off 435.

i know, he had a strike rate of 24 in Tests last year and 22 so far this year. In ODI's, he had a strike rate of 56 last year and 44 this year. He still hasn't shined in ODI's this year though. He averaged like 40 last year though.

Riveting cricket.

:D

Just had a cracking final day vs Hants at home. I chased 245 in 37 overs to win. There is no 3 points between the top 5 teams in D1!

I would play County Cricket if it werent for the fact that you had to play as an international team, cause it always disrupts my county season and I miss games, lose my momentum or get out of touch with what form my players are in.

I love County cricket! I love playing as crap teams like Glamorgan and making them good. Gives me good satisfaction.
