Hunting Tigers ~ Opening Ceremony For Season 3!

Welcome back to Hunting Tigers club and we have another important news this week. That interesting news is, " Season 3 has arrived! ". :cool: The manager of the club, with great difficulties(it was tough to manage the finance department,you know :p ), arranged the inaugural function to celebrate the start of Season 3 in battrick for Hunting Tigers. :happy The function took place in Mumbai.

We are very glad to say that many important chief guests accepted the manager's request and turned up for the function. This excited the manager to the extreme happy level( inspite of the expenses spent for arranging the function :D ). Some club members turned up as well.

The important guests include,

* TT lions manager -- Zorax
* Falcons manager -- Zohaib(PC)
* Sinhala Ranaweera's manager -- Voldemort(Effine)
* SriKrishna team's manager -- Viral
* Baggy Blues manager -- Syl.

Wow.. it was very interesting to see the reaction when TTLions manager and Falcons manager met each other in the function. :spy Words can't just express it though. :D They are known to be best classic rivals when comes to Battrick, may be like India and Pakistan. ;) :laugh

And, we are proud to tell that, another big star of this whole world have also accepted the invitation of manager and turned up for the opening ceremony. Its none other than, Mumbai's star, India's legend, One of the greatest batsmen in the World,

* Sachin Tendulkar -- Special Guest.

So, with all the guests settled in, the function began with the announcement of Season 3 by the team manager.

With all big opponents in the Division III, Hunting Tigers were placed in 7th position by default. Remember, its never going to be easy in Division III which the manager is well aware of. There are no bot teams anymore which flooded the divisions in IV and V.

All the other opponent teams have very well experienced managers as well. Like Tigers, they have also grown up with lots of efforts involved. Overall, a tough league time waiting ahead for Hunting Tigers but they are very much prepared for the challenge though. So, instead of some dominating easy games which appeared in previous seasons, we might have interesting fighting matches this season which will be good for spectators as well. :)

Here is the table for Division 3,

Code:
[COLOR="Black"][B]League: III.9[/B][/COLOR]

[B][COLOR="Red"]
	Team Pld Won Tie Lost Points Net RR[/COLOR][/B]

4. 	New Delhi Dipsites 	0 	0 	0 	0 	0 	0.00
5. 	Indian Elite 	0 	0 	0 	0 	0 	0.00

8. 	Pelpal 	0 	0 	0 	0 	0 	0.00[/B][/COLOR]

This includes the team called " Pelpal " against which Tigers faced the defeat in Twenty 20. They are placed in 8th position in the league tabe at present. Its very good time for Tigers to get their revenge back in league game. Have to wait and see how it turns out. Infact its the first league match of the season and hence, a cracking game ahead to start the Season 3. :)

Along with League games, FC game fixtures were also announced. Hunting Tigers should be quite happy with the opponents of FC league compared to Division III. Its not that tough as Division III but at the same time, its never going to be easy as well.

The Tigers manager is atleast happy with the default first position in FC league compared to the league games. Have to wait and see how Hunting Tigers makes a debut in FC games.

Also, Hunting Tigers get a place in Cup game as well which is starting this Sunday. Last time, the team got knocked out in the third round. No expectations in Cup games as, the opponents are being selected in a dynamic and random way.

A very hectic week ahead for Tigers. Its going to be interesting to see how the players will be on 28th evening. :D

So, with those fixtures announcement, the conference talk began and it was given by each and every chief guest who sat patiently watching those fixtures till now. :p

Conference Talk!

conferencetg3.jpg

Each team's manager started giving their opinion about the club,Hunting Tigers.

Zohaib( Falcons Manager) : Hunting Tigers have gotten far far better than what they used to be. They are more of a transfer team. Hunting Tigers have spent far more than they have actually gained from the transfer market. But this was acceptable because they now have an extremely good team that can give many teams a tough run. They have a even side, their top order is as good as their middle order and their spin bowlers are as good as their pace bowlers which gives them the edge on any pitch. This team can go far, and this season might be another good one for them.

Hope these words, " Another Good Season " come true.:upray Its tough though. It was very nice to hear those sweet words from one of the very experienced manager. And its soon followed by another experienced manager,

Zorax(TT Lions Manager) : A solid allround team with pleny of promise. Have improved at a startling rate, and who knows where they'll be in 3 more seasons? Probably competing with the big boys in Div 1 of the PC Championships?

Once again it was very great to hear. With 3 seasons time, definitely the Tigers would be growing up on the improving scale. Sinhala Ranaweera's manager followed Zorax,

Voldemort(Effine,Sinhala Ranaweera's Manager) : I have seen many new managers take up various teams of different skills. But HuntingTigers have surely improved at a faster pace compared to the rest.

Hopefully, this fast paced improvements continue in upcoming season as well. Viral then followed Voldy,

Viral(SriKrishnaTeam's Manager) : I think that the Hunting Tigers are a very good team. The team is being managed by a very talented manager too, so the future of the team is looking very bright! I wish the team & manager the best of luck for the coming season & I am sure that they will perform very well in the III league!

Thanks a lot for the wishes and was a nice positive speech by Krishna team's manager. Syl,who came all the way from Australia followed Viral,

Syl (Baggy Blues Manager) : Hunting Tigers - A fast growing Indian team with some real good bowlers that have been developed. They more times than not spark a collapse at the death part of the game. Their batting has been on the improve with new batter being trained and with that they are a very all round team.

Syl knows almost all the key players of Hunting Tigers very well even though his team have some terrific records of smashing two of the great Walls of Hunting Tigers -- Hamed and Love, that too it happened the same twice during Season 1. ;)

So thus, all the five great managers expressed their opinions on this young club. The manager wishes all of them, " A hearty Thanks :hpraise " for coming all the way from different parts of the world to attend this function. This is, ofcourse, one of the biggest unforgettable moments for Hunting Tigers team.

Coming to last part of the segment, our special guest, Sachin Tendulkar too spoke few words about this club,

sachindc0.jpg
: Firstly, its very nice to be here for this " Hunting Tigers " season 3 inaugural function. Though i haven't seen any of the match actions of this club directly, i have heard a lots about this club through local magazines here. In particular, have read a lot about this Mumbai club's captain and the manager. From my experience, i believe, its not an easy thing to captain the side and keep your personal form great. But this club's captain, Alshaun have done it splendidly well. Also, came to know about some young talents here through the manager. I wish all of them, Great Luck/success this season ... And, soon hoping to see some of the players here playing for India as well in the future. Good luck. :)

Sweet words there by the little master. Definitely, it should have boosted almost each and every player of the team by now. :) It was very great to hear Sachin as well, who had some spare time to spend here inspite of his busy schedule.

So, thats it.. With magnificent lunch time, the function came to an end. From now on, its no more a celebrating time. The team have to prepare themselves very hard to survive in this season. Lets wait and see how & what they do in Division III. Stay Tuned! :)

How did Sachin make it to the world of BT? Dimensional Flux Agitator? :p

Note, you may not get that reference if you don't read Sluggy Freelance

Anyways, general opinion is that your side is good allround. Zohaib went for more batting strength, I went for bowling, and Effine went for bits-and-pieces. You got all the good parts out of that. So far. You need to keep this up. Train everything evenly.

Nice presentation too.

Great stuff Suren, I take it my invitation was lost in the post ;) Did you offer Sachin a contract whilst he was there? I'd only rate his batting as mediocre :p Not like the elite Ponting

or the elite Stuart Broad :)

my words would have been truly sucking up and insparational

Thank you Zorax.. And i am trying my level best in training. The only worrying factor is the PFL which is fresh and lively for many key players :(

And regarding Sachin, he jumped in BT world all of a sudden after seeing local magazines.. You see.. My club's home place is also Mumbai :spy

:happy Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments and views :happy

Hunting Tigers ~ Preview of First Cup Game.

Welcome back once again for the preview of the first cup game this season. Hunting Tigers play a team called " Ratnagiri CC " on 23rd of this month in their homeground. (That is, this Sunday). Its to be noted that,Ratnagiri CC has no manager. ;)

How good is the Opponent ? :what

opponentstrengthcp7.jpg

As per the Battrick's Reporter Summary,
Code:
[B][COLOR="Black"][COLOR="Red"]Team Name :[/COLOR] [U]Ratnagiri CC[/U][/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkGreen"][COLOR="Red"]Top Order:[/COLOR] 	 	woeful
[COLOR="Red"]Middle Order: [/COLOR]	 	abysmal
[COLOR="Red"]Lower Order:[/COLOR] 	 	abysmal
[COLOR="Red"]Seam Bowling: [/COLOR]	 	worthless
[COLOR="Red"][COLOR="Red"]Spin Bowling:[/COLOR] 	 	[COLOR="DarkGreen"]abysmal[/COLOR]
Fielding: [/COLOR]	 	abysmal[/COLOR][/B]

Well, this is expected from the opponent when they don't seem to have a manager. With the strength observed, Hunting Tigers manager feel that its a very good time to rest some of the key players and give some other players a chance in this match.

" There should be no big deal in finishing off this opponent with ease! ", feels the manager. With Woeful top order and abysmal in both middle/lower order, any manager can feel the same. Also, their worthless/abysmal bowling ratings is going to bring something for the batsmen of Tigers to enjoy hitting all over the ground. :D

Strategies : Key Players to be Rested.

Its to be noted that bowlers like Love, Donald, Hamed, Clarke are struggling with their PFL. Love is the most affected one. Its not possible to rest all the four since Hunting Tigers have only 15 players in their squad.

So, the manager have decided to rest Love, Clarke and Hamed! :eek: Its going to be a big gamble in resting three of the main key players. In particular, resting Clarke and Hamed is somewhat risky as they are the ones who initiate the collapse in 40-50 overs even against some top class opponents. Moreover, fans must be missing their favourite players this Sunday.

Max Mulligan, William Bolland and Dildar Baloch are going to be the replacements. These three haven't played for this club for many months. Asking them to perform all of a sudden is again, going to be gamble.

So, here is what bowling line-up going to be,

Code:
[B][COLOR="Black"][U]Bowling Line-Up[/U] :[/COLOR]

[COLOR="DarkGreen"][COLOR="Red"]First Bowler :[/COLOR] 	 	Kyle Macdonald
[COLOR="Red"]Second Bowler : [/COLOR]	 Max Mulligan
[COLOR="Red"]Third Bowler :[/COLOR] 	 	Dildar Baloch
[COLOR="Red"]Fourth Bowler : [/COLOR]	 William Bolland
[COLOR="Red"]Fifth Bowler :[/COLOR] 	 	[COLOR="DarkGreen"]Malcolm Wotton[/COLOR][/COLOR]
[/B]

Regarding the batting, its going to be the same line-up that played recent Twenty20s except for one change. Bishop is also struggling with his PFL. So the manager has decided to rest him too. This means, Rampaul and Bartlett are going to open the innings with Rampaul keeping wickets.

Hunting Tigers have a lot and lots of problem with PFL with crucial games coming up.. :mad: Full credits to Battrick bug which played 3 Twenty 20 games in one day earlier and two friendly games in one day, last week. :mad:

" This bug definitely not going to harm much for the bigger developed teams, but it just hurts for developing teams like Tigers. ", says the manager expressing all his frustrations.

[COLOR="DarkGreen"]

2)  Dennis Bartlett

4)  Vimesh Alshaun[COLOR="Red"](C)[/COLOR]
5)  Anshul Paki
6)  Elvis Field
7)  Dildar Baloch
8)  Malcolm Wotton
9)  Max Mulligan
10) William Bolland
11) Kyle Macdonald[/COLOR][/B]

Manager's Thoughts On This Game.

" With Tigers going with unreliable bowling line-up, it will be good for Tigers if they chase whatever score that is going to be put up by the opponents. We do have in-depth batting order. The main advantage for the Tigers is, our opponents have no manager to guide them. With their players having worthless form, we should be able to pull a victory here. Never know, it might result in a upset too..But we are more focussed on FC/League games later this week than the Cup games. ", says the manager with just one day to go for the game to start.

All the manager feels at the moment is,

:)

Lets see how the game is going to turn up for Hunting Tigers with a risky line-up. Stay Tuned to know more! :cool:

It is always good to win an early game. Gets your team morale up going into the rest of the season.

You are using the West Tigers logo. For those who don't know the West Tigers are an Australian Rugby League team whose team jersery colours are black and orange.

Really Suren, I don't know how you do two great stories with equally great presentation.

Yep, it is West Tigers logo. I saw many pictures of Tigers when i was searching an appropriate one for this " Hunting Tigers ". I don't know why, i liked this West Tigers one a lot.. So decided to go with it.

Is it anything wrong to use that Tiger? if its something wrong.. I will change to someother Tiger.

Really Suren, I don't know how you do two great stories with equally great presentation.

Thank you :) I am trying my level best and glad that its turning out good. Waiting for my financial update in BT as it would come generally late in India.

With 5 days of cricket action in 7 days, i really wonder how am I going to manage this squad :( PFL is my only worry factor. :( :upray

No, don't get me wrong Suren I think it is great that you are using the West Tigers logo. I just thought it was a bit funny because I am a avid league follower.

Not compared to me...

You should have set updates for each week, that would make it more familiar and people would think of your story on certain days

Hunting Tigers ~ Some More Club News This Week.

Welcome back once again for knowing some more news on Hunting Tigers club. In this segment, lets see what happened to Youth Pulls, Club Members and Financial status of the club.

Well to be abstract, Nothing went right for Hunting Tigers :mad: :(

Youth Pull of this Week.

youthpullzk2.jpg

After a patient collection of 35 reserved Intensive Training sessions, the manager tried to pull a new bowler for the club. The manager badly needed a bowler(as his key bowlers are in bad PFLs) and its outcome was very much disappointing. Its to be noted that Youth Academy was in superb condition.

Code:

" Haishen is actually not a bad player but this is not the player which the club needs at the moment. Instead of getting rusted here, he can find better future somewhere! ", feels the manager.

And hence, he has been immediately listed in Transfer Market for asking rate of just £0. If there are no bids coming up, he seems to be definitely fired from the club. :cool: Hunting Tigers hope for some good luck atleast in next pull.:upray

Club Members Status.

[COLOR="Red"]Sponsors' confidence:	[/COLOR]joyous
[COLOR="Red"]Club Members:[/COLOR]	1396
[COLOR="Red"]Members confidence:	[/COLOR]happy[/COLOR][/B]

With members confidence being " happy " because of the fresh start to the new season, the number of members who joined the club today are very less. Just 3 members joined today. But its understandable that, with further progress, there will be some improvements. And to achieve this, team should win the matches to make the fans happy.

Lets see how this status turns up after tomorrow's game.

Money!!! Money!!! Money!!!

financebn5.jpg

Its to be noted that misc money of about 55K, which gets credited automatically to the club, has been cut from last week. So there is considerable amount of loss for the club in both last week as well as this week.

Code:
[B][COLOR="Red"]Projected balance at next Update:  [/COLOR]	[COLOR="DarkGreen"]£1,376,621[/COLOR][/B]

With club going in loss for two weeks, manager feels very frustrated about this new policy. With FC games coming up, the calculation of gate receipts in FCs still remain as mystery to all. With members confidence(which has been reseted) also playing role, manager highly doubt whether there will be a proper compensation of misc amount.

Have to wait and see how this status increases/decreases next week. :cool:
