Hunting Tigers ~ FC game, A Review.

Welcome back to Hunting Tigers club again to know what happened in FC game this week. Its against the team name called "Warrior_Lions" scheduled at HuntingTigers CG. The opponents do have a manager, so the Hunting Tigers manager decided to send the team with full strength except for two changes. Wotton and Bishop were rested for Mulligan and Rampaul.

Hunting Tigers Vs Warrior_Lions, Day 1.

The toss was yet again won by Hunting Tigers. Without any hesitation, Alshaun asked the opponents to bat first to utilise the early conditions of the pitch. Infact the bowlers did what Alshaun expected from them.

Opening bowlers looked very dangerous and as expected, they managed to get rid of one of the openers in very early overs. After that, batsmen had no chance to settle down because of attacking bowling/aggressive field set. Wickets came in at regular intervals which provided 100% entertainment to the home crowd.

There was a small little partnership in middle but bowlers finally managed to restrict the opponent below 150. Opponents were all out for 146. Each and every bowler contributed to their level best. Macdonald ended up with four wickets.

Hunting Tigers openers, Rampaul and Bartlett gave a very good start to the team and built a solid opening partnership of over 100+. But pity that both were dismissed towards the end of Day1 after reaching their fifties. Alshaun and Malik batted for little time after two quick wickets and day 1 ended.

Day2 ~ Alshaun/Field's Domination.

Alshaun and Malik started the Day2 for Tigers. These two played very carefully and denied further chances of throwing the wickets away. Malik, inparticular, seemed to have got his nice form back. He played some matured shots but he was dismissed before reaching his fifty. He was dismissed on 46.

Field arrived in as the new batsman and from here, these two(Field/Alshaun) dominated the bowlers. Bowlers really had no clue on Alshaun's attacking approach. He got some regular boundaries as well as some big knocks. Alshaun reached his century and received standing applauses from everyone. Even after his century, the aggressive approach continued. He was on his way to 150 but was very very unfortunately run out on 148. :( Nevermind, it was a great knock in home ground.

Soon after, Field also reached his century. But as soon as he crossed his 100 mark, he was dismissed. Paki was also dismissed and Hunting Tigers were comfortable though with 450/6. From this situation, to everyone's suprise, Love and Clarke added another 150 runs partnership taking their team to 600 mark at the end of Day2. The home team was in very dominating position with one day remaining with a healthy lead.

Day3 ~ No Problems in Winning The Match.

Well, the declaration came from Hunting Tigers as expected after reaching 606. Another unfortunate things was, Love got dismissed just a ball before the declaration on Day3.

So with a healthy lead, the home team's bowlers came with very determined spirit to win this game and infact they did it. Once again, it was very attacking approach by the bowlers. Alshaun's captaincy has been excellent throughout this match.

The opponents had a great collapse of loosing all their 10 wickets for just 31 runs. Hence, Hunting Tigers won by an innings and 429 Runs. This is yet another victory by an innings for Alshaun. :)

" We were in complete control over the game throughout these three days. Bowlers once again did a fantastic job. Batting was also good. Overall, a good team effort remain as the root cause for this victory. This definitely boosts our confidence to put a good fight against the huge team,RIGS tomorrow in front of this same home crowd. :upray " feels the Captain of Hunting Tigers, Alshaun.
