Well, I'm back after about 8 days of being away. Had a football tournament in Lisbon which we won. And we completed our very own 'double'. With which we call the Premiership and the Champions League :p. Being at an International school means we get the opportunity to play other International Schools. So in October we had a tournament in Lugano or the 'Premiership' as we call it, close to Italy, involving the best International Schools in the Country which we won on Penalties in the final. Got to about the 10th penalty and then we won and everyone went mental. Gives me goosebumps remembering it!

Then we had a Tournament involving 5 schools in Lisbon. Involving my school, an International School from Lisbon, one from Morroco, one from Barcelona and one from Tunisia which ran from Thursday till Saturday. Thursday and Friday was the group stage which we topped winning 3 of our 4 games. We lost to the hosts on Friday. Then Saturday was the Finals day. Our semi final was Us against the winner of 4th/5th. So we played Morroco and won 3-0, easily. Then in the final we played Tunisia under flood lights, we beat them 3-0 in the group stage and once again beat them 3-0 in the final to win the tournament and complete our double. We are the first boys team in the history of our school to do that.

I completed my own personal double, being the only player to play not get subbed off once in both tournament, so I played every minute of Lugano and every minute of the AMAC tournament. The only player to do so! and that includes our goalie.

So flying back from Lisbon was never gonna happpen with the Ash cloud, so the school organised a coach to drive us from Lisbon back to Basel! Our trip spanned 3 days, 4 countries and 30 hours but we eventually made it back, although the trip was hell!
