I am leaving/back thread

Sounds pretty damn awesome, you must be one of heck of a player, good job too
The first team in your school to ever win the tournament, amazing, and you din't get subbed off in the whole tournament

Hahah, I'm actually a centre back and possibly the worst player on the team :p. There is no way I have a future, my coach described me as something like the least natural footballer on the team. I am a rugby player who can play some football. Was called a beast and a tank by opposition players. Was pretty happy to be the only person to play every minute of both tournaments. I didn't mention the fact that we played the whole Saturday without our first choice keeper after he broke his wrist in about 3 places! He is absolutely incredible, the best keeper I have ever seen in my age group and our coach has said the same.

He probably could have a future in the game, but his parents hate him playing football.

I have to say, it was an amazing weekend, we had such a good laugh all weekend. I brought my A game with banter to the tournament and it made for a great weekend. One of the best bits was on the bus, about 20 hours in, when the lads at the back including me, decided to have an acapella sing a long, doing Hero and Wonderwall. Think we got everyone's spirits up for a bit. I'm never gonna forget this weekend.

I hoep with your Rugby background that you don't literally tackle them in it. Aparently I'd be pretty decent at soccer with a powerful kick and fast speed, but I like AFL better.

Leaving for a week late night today. Adventurous journey is what they call it. Don't know how much of an adventure it will be. Will be back by 27th, I guess.

Damn it! Poor management cost us. Everyone seem to believe we got the tickets reserved until we realized no one actually got to doing them. It sucks to have spoiled the chance. I'm back (sort of) then. :o

Well I suppose I'm back to being active around here, some of you would have noticed my slight absence over the last two-three weeks.

Mods, fear my wrath, yada ya, etc etc.

I'm not too bad cheers Jack, happier than usual thanks to an extended weekend but the rain has definitely but a damper on the day. Rumours of a house party tonight though and if those rumours materialise, then I'll be a very happy bunny indeed. ;)

How is yourself matey? Must say it's been a while!

Yes, a lie-in was certainly needed after two days of cricket that saw me take six wickets, including a hat-trick ;)

I am very good. Gearing up for exams, and I may actually get round to organising my folder today, which I've promised for several months now. Ypu'll be pleased to know, as a English educated man yourself, that I recently got an A for my A2 coursework. How's school going for you? Last year of GCSE, right?

It has been too long mate. Still got that Pakistan save for ICC06, even after getting a new laptop, just in case you graced us with your return once again :p

You took six wickets including a hat trick? Are you still intent on playing OAPs that have all had at least one hip operation? Some things never change aye? ;)

That's good to hear mate and same as me, I have piles of paperwork all over my room that need sorting out and like you, it's gonna take a few months for me to get around to it. A2 is AS level isn't it? Congratulations mate, that is awesome news. I should easily get A*s when I do A2 coursework then if even you can manage an A. ;)

Personally, school has been going exceedingly well and things are coming together quite nicely. I received my results for Core Biology and Core Chemistry GCSE, in which I got 100% in Biology(A*) and 85%(A) in my Chemistry. I have my Additional Biology and Additional Chemistry in just under 4 weeks before doing Core Physics and Additional Physics next year. Apart from those Additional exams in under 4 weeks time, I have 6 other GCSEs this year that I am taking early. I'm hoping to at least get As in half of them if all goes to plan.

English wise, like yourself, it's all gone swimmingly. I received an A* for my Language coursework and either an A or A* for my Literature coursework. I should be well on course to receive at least an A for English Language and English Literature at this rate, as long as I don't flop the exams!

Haha, unfortunately I don't have that ICC06 save file in my possession no-more after re-formating my computer recently to use Ubuntu instead of Microsoft XP. I'm not too sure if ICC06 works on Ubuntu unfortunately, but I'll probably have a little play around later to see if it is compatible.
