I will be using Lambourne/Owzat Games International Cricket to simulate the entire 1983/4 BCCP Patron's Trophy from Pakistan.
International Cricket is a dice based cricket simulation, though there is the excellent program called Surf's IC Helper which allows you to run games and keep statistics on Excel.
I will also play games using John Bowness far less expensive and quicker Three Dice Cricket as a comparison.
I will also play the same games using some hybrid rules I came up with for old 80's dice classic Max Walker's Cricket Game.
The full scorecards the season I am going to simulate can be found here

The competition rules state that first innings are automatically closed after 75 overs, with matches lasting 3 days.
Bonus points are awarded for the first innings, in addition to any points gained for the match result.
The first match is between competition lightweights Quetta and Sukkur, at the Racecourse Ground, Quetta.
The pitch for the match is:
108 - Dry and dusty before a ball has been bowled. This pitch may offer the bowlers assistance as early as the 2nd day with the bounce becoming erratic. Winning to toss here must be an advantage because batting will never be easier than on the first day.
Quetta won the toss and elected to bat.
Lineups:
Quetta - Younus Ata, Rashid Raza, Raj Hans, Asif Baloch (c), Suleman Tahir, Talha Ghaznavi, Mansoor Khan (wk), Tahir Kazmi, Habib Baloch, Tariq Baloch, Rashid Ali
Sukkur - Rizwan Yousuf, Arshad Ali, Nasir Khan, Naimatullah, Abdul Nabi, Samiullah Khan (c), Aqeel Ahmed (wk), Amjad Bhatti, Aslam Manghi, Arif Amin, Abid Khan
