The ICC has invent a new competiton today to put the ICC Champions trophy and 20/20 together to make ICC 20/20 Champions trophy. They also annoced the host today and would be held in England

Ian: Hello and weclome to the draw from the ICC headquarters in the UAE. I have Brian Lara besides me

Brian: Yeah it's a new thing for the ICC to create this 20/20 tourmanet for the best eight 20/20 teams.

Ian: The draw is about to start and each pot theres is 4 teams. In pot A we have Australia, England, India and New Zealand while in Pot B we have Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa and the West Indies.

Ian: Well the draw has been annouced and I will tell you about Group B. Australia possibly have the easyitst draw in the 2 groups with only South Africa being the only challenger. New Zealand might be a challenge but my predction will be South Africa and Australia to quaflie.

Brian: Group A is the toughest group of the 2 with a classic rivaly between Pakistan and India. The host England is also in this group and could be a good challenger to be top of the group. West Indies is the only team that will possibley not make it through to the Semi Finals.

The fixture for the ICC 20/20 Champions trophy has been annouced today at the host venue for the final in Lords. 3 venues will be used for the 20/20 Champions trophy with Lords, The oval and Cardiff having the other 2 ventures with Lords. In group A it will be a classic for the second group match being India against Pakistan in Day 1 of the Cup. India will have go to Cardiff for 2 of their group matches going against West Indies and England. While on group B Australia gets to played 2 matches in Lords taking on New Zealand and South Africa. New Zealand have to play 2 matches in Cardiff to quafie. Now we have a look at the fixtures.

Shane: Yes this was menat to be to the 2nd match of the tourmanet after the West Indies trouble of getting out. That meant England will have to wait until Game 4 where they have to take on India on the Oval.

Brian: Yeah I was one of the lucky West Indians that did get out of the West Indies before the snow came in.

Ian: The Captans are out onto the field for this match.
