sorry...ive been a bit busy off late...havent had much time for playing the game due to euro 2004....but once i get some time....ill begin the Pakistani run chase.

Australia have won the ICC Champions Trophy by 34 runs. Pakistan lost wickets at regular intervals, and kept falling behind the required run rate. But some hard hitting at the end from Razzaq and Kamran Akmal, made things interesting. But the target proved a bit too much for the Pakistanis, who finished at 277-9 in 50 overs.

Man of the Match: Brett Lee
Man of the Series: Ian Harvey

Unfortunately no screenshots for the Pakistani innings.

Australia beat Pakistan by 34 runs
Having won the toss, Ricky Ponting opted to bat first. Australia lost Hayden pretty early, but Ponting and Gilchrist took the Aussies to a good position before Gilchrist was out for 68. Ponting top scored with 94 as Australia posted a mammoth 311, thanks to some hard hitting by Symonds and Lee.

In reply, Pakistan only managed 277, with Abdul Razzaq their top scorer. Brett Lee finished with figures of 5-40, earning him man of the match. Ian Harvey was elected man of the series.
