ICC 2006 Trial

Can some one clear this out for me please? There are no visible bowler or batting ratings as such, only averages. So are the batsmen and bowlers' skills hidden or are they directly correlated to the averages??
They're hidden. You can theoretically have a great batsman with a low average.

i went to download the trial from the site. there is only a icc 2005 link on the downloads page. can anyone help please. where is 2006 ?????

Thanks for that. Does add a bit more to the game I think, if the skills are hidden.

where did you guys download the game from, can someone send me a direct link to the file. its not on the site anymore

I will actually buy ICC 2006 now, as I don't have ICC 2005.

# Q: Will the 2005 patch be available soon?
# A: A patch is in final testing for 2005 which will enable on-line play, improved player types and preferences and corrections to saved games. This has been delayed many times but will be available soon.

Looks like people with ICC 2005 won't be missing much.

If you're so concerned about getting 2 full days out of it just set your clock to 12:01 before you install it

Softwrap is based upon your servers time though, isn't it?

I would have been a little more excited about ICC 2006 if they had fixed faults with the match engine. Things like being able to move your keeper when you edit fields. The bug where a fielder standing on the boundary doesn't move to field a ball about 10 yards from where he's standing. The umpire at the non strikers end giving decisions on stumpings and run outs at the strikers end!

The trial is the full version, but with time limited (2 days), right? If that's true, why don't you just keep setting back your system date so you can play it indefinately?

The Softwrap system detects that you have changed your system time and will not allow you to run the program until you set it back, i think.

It only detects if the time is before the time it was last run

ICC is pretty much the perfect game except for the that it doesnt use the real ICC ratings system. To be honest, I can't see any excuse for that, given that the creators of cricket Coach (development team size = 2) could do so. The only other thing I want to know is if countries like bangladesh get more than just 2 match test series and 3 match ODI series, when they are better ranked. It always annoyed me when as Bangladesh, I was the best team in the world, yet I never played a 3 test or 5 test series. It would be good if the size of a series was based on the rankings of the teams, with a couple of exceptions.

can i download the full version of icc cricket captain 2005 plzzz help as i need it
