ICC Champions Trophy 2013 - England & Wales

It takes skill to produce a hard bouncy pitch that turns into a raging turner 5 overs later. I've seen two of those in this tournament, and those are just the India games. Hats off to the curators.

That's hardly unusual. It's the harder pitches that tend to break up more, resulting in more spin. Rather than those tacky surfaces which don't do much.

Come on guys, come on....still on....

----------

this is tighter than a camels bum in a sandstorm.......

What a bunch of chokers! Bopara had to stay in after Morgan was out.

FFS why oh why oh why......:facepalm

How do we manage it every single time? We give ourselves every possible chance and then.....

----------

Oh man this is now embarassing.....oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....time for the old head in the microwave job.....

----------

Lets get this straight....five balls ago we were winning......

England threw it away. Nothing else to say. India didn't win this by playing well, England collapsed and let them win.

It hurts now but it's time to move on to the Aussies.

Bollards.....choke, choke, choke.....never will you have such a chance to win this, never......meh.......need to sit in the fridge for a while.....

I don't quite understand how England didn't win that - we were cruising to victory, and then out comes the good ol' self destruct button again and once again, we've blown it.

Have to say though, that shocker by the third umpire to dismiss Ian Bell could well have been crucial.

Commentary's right though - we found a way to lose it when we were cruising to victory.

That was glorious.

I suppose we deserved some of the luck we had going our way today, given how well we played in the earlier games, but that was England's to win all day long, and they just switched off in the last 3 overs.

We've done it twice now.
