Congratulations to Pakistan for entering the final of the Champions Trophy! Beating England in their current form and that too in their own backyard is an achievement that should count as 'spectacular' for this current Pakistani side. After that defeat against India, Pakistan has superbly resurrected itself.

This is a proper thrashing for England! Blown away!

England are the team that Pakistan can exploit the most. While India and Bangladesh generally play with an element of control which is Pakistan's weakness, England's attacking style will completely suit Pakistan's unpredictability.

England played right into Pakistan's hand, just as many would've expected. The top 4 got out trying to be too powerful and imposing when a bit more caution and sedateness would've helped.

Wow. Who would've thought that Pakistan will be in the final after that thrashing against India, that too after a one-sided, comprehensive victory over the hosts and the team that had the best form, England. Pakistan, the final isn't just another match. If it's India, it's a shot at redemption.

Congrats Pakistan. I supported this side like it was mine during the SA game. I won`t be doing that if we get to the finals though ;-). Hope we get through but this seems to be destined to be Pakistan`s tournament. Either way, an all Asian final in a tournament in England would have been unthinkable at the start!

Not specific to today's game but the level of analysis on TV during the tournament has been very good. Great depth to it and having former world-class players is definitely helping. Long may it continue.
