Englands confidence is extremely low after the defeat to Zimbabwe, but now is the time to bounce back with holland as their next opponents. Holland won the toss and elecetd to bat on what seemed to be a nice prepared all round good pitch. Holland started well but Harmison struck taking one caught behind by C.Read and then another caught in the slips. Harmison and Gough bowled in tamdem untill the 6th over when P.Collingwood came in with his swing. P.Collingwood was definetly the most costly bowler with figures of 8 overs 72-0, so eventually gough came back into the attack. Holland built up a partnership thanks to a huge score of 78 from Zuidernt but then D.Gough took two wickets two balance out the game again. England seemed to be doing well but then there was another huge partnership making M.Vaughan use himself and A.Giles to stem the run rate. At 197-6 with 18 overs to go Holland looked on top but then giles took four quick wickets thanks to Silly point and one clean bowled. In the end Hollan made 230 but England are now still in this game adn A.Giles is a strong contender for the Man Of The match award.

England are batting first against namibia but have lost two early wickets of N.Hussain and M.Trescothic, M.Trescothic has had disapointing world cup so far scoring just over 50 runs. Micheal Vaughan will be hoping today is his day and looking for a big score along with A.Strauss who was dropped for the sceond game after his poor performance but who has beeen givin a second chance after 11 overs england are 55-2.

Wow, quite a lot of upsets in this World Cup. Also it's a shame that Tresco' is off form. tjh could you give us more info on your games for example what wicket are you playing on, what are the weather conditions like. Losing two early wickets on a normal pitch is a lot worse than on a green one.

Keep up the good work promising start to this thread.

England lost the toss again for the 3rd time in a row.
M.Vaughan and M.trescothic made they're way out to the middle both of them looking for some needed runs, England got of to a steady start with 5 runs per over. M.Trescothic finally looked in form but then being eager for the single got himself runout on 19. N.Hussain and M.Vaughan continued the respective run rate untill N.Hussain went out to a dispointed drive straight back to mid off. A.Strauss and M.Vaughan put on a decent partner ship untill Strausss was runout thanks to a direct hit. A.flintoff made is way out with alot of confidenc after his 50 against holland and with M.Vaughan looking in form in the 20's things were going englands way. Namibia brought on a spinner and was extremely effective dismissing M.Vaughan LBW on 27 and now england looked like they were on there way to a embarrising defeat at 135-4. Overs past and some how england had reach the 40 over mark on 200-4 with A.Flintoff in the 40's and P.Collingwood in the 30's. England decided to up the tempo in the last 10 and soon enough A.Flintoff reached his fifty with a lovely cut (on screenshot page coming after match details) A.Flintoff was finally dismissed on 64 being caught on the boundary . P.collingwood smashed his way to 70 untill he was dismissed being bowled by a in swinging yorker and C.Read went quickly. After the fifty overs england wre 272-7 smashing 70 of the last ten. Namibia require just over 5 and over to win.
