ICC Super Series squads

thats only a couple of series's though , when ganguly started , ganguly did not have the best starts either , it takes time .

A great cricketing mind, as a good batsman. But he does not know much about how to apply pressure while bowling, or atleast thats what I felt after observing his tactics as captain. Actually I dont believe he had any concrete tactics that were working out during the match.

How come Inzi gets to be the ODI captain?

IMO, Inzi is a better captain than Dravid, and his records prove that. And selecting Dravid to captain the World XI against Australia will not be on the selector's list. Indiangod remember the 5th ODI at Kanpur? When Afridi was wreaking havoc, Dravid was at a total loss to do anything. Remember what happened in the Kumble over? Dravid tried to apply an attacking field for Afridi, leaving boundaries open (correct me if I am wrong). The next thing you know, the balls in the mid-wicket stands! I mean what was he thinking trying to attack Afridi?! Dravid does not seem to be a strategic person to me, while Ganguly is just the opposite.

Dravid is a good player, but not a good captain. And Ganguly is way better then him.

I think Inzamam-ul-Haq will captain both sides.

.

I dont think India had enough runs in the board , they made a comeback but they could not finesh it off , and thats only 1 match , dravids only started as captain , and he might have capained before but I'm not sure , ganguly is a better captain than dravid and inzi , and gangulys captaincey record speaks for himself , anyway about that afrdid knock , it was just lucky batting , he was hitting hit , and he was hoping it cleared the fielders , and he when he was hitting he was hoping for the best , dravid could not do nothing about it .I dont mind who is captain of india as long as they can win series's for india. And not to forget everycaptain as a bad day or series . But that was before though . What about inzi , I dont think he should be captain becuase the last time the pakistanis toured the aussies it as inzi the captain in the test series and the aussies walloped the pakistanis's 3-0 in the tes series . When India toured the aussies India outplayed the aussies when ganguly was captain , and dravid washelping ganguly out , same goes in the vb series when india should have won 2 more games , and same goes to when india was in pakistan 2004.

The difference being India were facing the 2nd or maybe 3rd string Aussie bowlers (no Mcgrath and Warne. Gillespie out for most part), while Pakistan were subjected to a full strength Aussie side.

I'm not really bothered who is captain of the icc super side , as long as he does a good job.

What do you think of the Kit the World XI will wear?

There is nothing ganguly could have done.
He could not have curbed those sixes could he ?
Dravid is best person to lead ... i would say.

I feel he is the Indian skipper to have lead India to its first test win in pakistan.
He captaincy was superb at that time.He is a wonderful one for the tests.
One dayers..the form of the team is pathetic..but if you do not want dravid..
i dont think inzimam would make a better odi captain.

Instead go for Stephen Fleming...easily the best in the world right now.

Ganguly would have done much better. Atleast he would have had sense of not attacking Afridi. He would have sent half-his men to the boundary. It was if Dravid expected Afridi to bat-pad Kumble!
