ICC Trophy
I think this could be the closest ICC Trophy yet. The chances of qualifying will be greater with 5 teams, instead of 3 teams, qualifying
-Holland have experience, despite no Lefebve, they have Van Bunge, de Leede, Doeschate, Kloppenborg to name a few and are probably the strongest side there and will qualify and be favourites to win it
-Scotland have a great chance of qualifying. They've hit form at the right time, performing well in the National League.
-Ireland also have good chance of qualifying for their first World Cup. As well as being hosts, they beat Surrey in the C&G Cup last year and the West Indies. With players like Ed Joyce they have a great chance
-Canada will be strong and with John Davison, Ian Billcliff and Ashley Codrington, they have a reasonable chance of qualifying
-After surprising many by qualifying for CWC 2003, Namibia will have the pressure to qualify again, yet their recent form has let them down
-USA surprised people by qualifying for the Champions Trophy, and there is no reason why they can't do it again, however do they have the experience of the pressure to get there?
-UAE qualified for CWC 1996, and athough their side is not as strong now they recently got to the Asia Cup and the best non-test side in Asia could make it to the West Indies
-Denmark are unlikely to qualify but can't be ruled out, with Kent's Amjad Khan the Danish may be the surprise team in Ireland
-Bermuda are unlikely to qualify as well, but they are the best non-test side in N.America after Canada and USA
-Uganda have little chance of quaifying, but watch out for all-rounder Kamyuka who impressed last time
-Oman and Papua New Guinea are unkown quantities but as Namibia showed four years ago, anyone has a chance
Predictions(through calculations,matches played etc.):
1st-Holland
2nd-Scotland
3rd-Ireland
4th-USA
5th-Canada
Good luck to all the teams!!!!!!!
The order is due to the fact Group B is a lot sronger than Group A
By the way, I am in process of making the ICC Trophy on Cricket 2004. I am have problems with making the kits.
Do you want them playing in whites like in real life, or in colours
