I think the commentators are right- any spinner that gives it air in Delhi are going to get hammered. I don't think England will change their side, but I wonder if they'll consider either a) dropping Rashid for Topley. England's seamers have had more success than spinners in Delhi. b) drop Rashid for Billings. Root bowls pretty flat spin and so could do the work Rashid would've done.

Virat Kohli is now being called as "God of Modern Cricket" in social medias like Facebook and Twitter after his match winning knock against Aussies which seemed very difficult to win while Aussies were dominating most of the time ( 15-16 overs).

Actually it is rightly said as he has the highest average and strike rate in comparison with Sachin's stats. He is consistent in scoring runs and breaking records made by Sachin and is truely the "God of Modern Cricket".

I haven't been following cricket much since the Sri Lanka series ended but how exactly did he get into this team? I also like to focus on the now and the not too far distant past, and to put it honestly he hasn't done anything since the 2011 WC.

And just tbf, I will never let go of his contributions in our 2 triumphant WC campaigns in 2007 and 2011 either.

He played well in Syed Mushtaq Ali/ Vijay Hazare trophy (confused about which one), so he was called in. But at current situation, he is playing better than Rohit,Dhawan and Raina.

Fair enough and I'd say that just shows how poor Rohit, Dhawan and Raina have been rather than how good Yuvi has been, but Yuvi going down might be the catalyst to get Rahane into the side, which is fair to say we've all been harping about since the beginning of the tourny.

Wankhede and slow pitch? I doubt so. That SA vs Eng game had England chasing 220+ successfully. All three games at Wankhede this tournament have been high scoring ones (WI successfully chasing 182 against England, England successfully chasing 220 against SA and SA posting 209 and Afghanistan came pretty close at 172 for a team of their experience).

WI have an equal chance as India, due to the pitch and the fact that they have a strong batting lineup which starts with Gayle. I am sure Dhoni will try to ensure he unleashes Ashwin on Gayle as Ashwin has had some success against Gayle (mostly in IPL). India need to make sure they chase at Wankhede if they win the toss. If WI win the toss, they will want to make India first as they wouldn't want to run into another Kohli led chase. This game will be fun. India likely to get a true batting wicket after long.
