Facing West Indies at Wankhade will be really challenging. They have played a couple of games in Mumbai and are well aware of pitch and conditions.

Mumbai is a perfect T20 paradise and is a high scoring venue. We might get to see Rohit Sharma back into his regular form at his homeground. Someone has to take the lead and not completely relying upon Kohli. He is under immense pressure and might be effected.

Jasprit is expected to perform well as he is a local guy alongside Rohit, Pandya. We do have to drop Dhawan and bring in Rahane in his place. If Yuvi is unfit, then he can be replaced by Manish. This is a perfect T20 side.

Good Luck to WI as they are facing host team. I hope they don't go with same mind set as they did against Afghanistan.

Disappointing if Yuvraj misses out. He was getting into the groove and this happens. However knowing Dhoni, he will most likely not play Manish but will rather play Rahane. Where Rahane bats will be the question a lot will ask. Anything below No.3 is too low for him and he could most likely be not used at all for batting (I am expecting this at Wankhede where its a batting feast and one of our openers are surely expected to make merry along with Kohli).

I would drop Rohit down the order and open with Rahane. But I know that's not a popular choice and will be met with many counter arguments.

Admittedly, Afghanistan and West Indies are the two most entertaining teams. And their match was simply amazing! This has made Me want West Indies to host Afghanistan for a 3-Match Twenty20 series with both teams playing their absolute strength xis.

Lol, i guess you are going with law of averages with dhawan, i will just say even if he succeeds he wont do it big time enough to lift the team, rohit on the other hand on home pitch against WI would be better choice on opening with the other more stable but effective mumbai lad!

Of course he won't play Pandey, that guy hasn't played competitive cricket snce that Australia ODI's. Rahane has to be the one to replace Yuvraj and I agree that Rahane has to open with Rohit coming down at 4. Even in IPL Rohit bats at 4 for MI.

Well here is something out of box that I am reading in few articles. Dhoni is "keen" to play Pawan Negi in place of Yuvraj. I don't think it's a good idea especially since none of our batsmen are in form except Virat. We need a longer batting line-up.

Ravi Shastri however wants Ajinkya Rahane in the line-up in place of Yuvraj Singh.

Many said and done, but don't loose faith in Dhoni, he won't make so many changes to the winning side. Even two changes would be like creating lots of mess into a combination that produce favorable results, through our captain's eyes (which is good for some part though). That was so unfortunate for Yuvi to miss out, I just wanted to see him play more; maybe in IPL now. Anyways that opens the gate for Rahane, I suppose. I guess, this would be the lineup against West Indies

By the way, I will loose my mind at Dhoni if he decides to do something wild and selects Negi over Rahane. That would be end of me as an MSD fan and I'll turn into greatest ever anti-Dhoni guy if he's to redo those CSK quota things. I'm dead serious about myself becoming his critic if that happens.
