For that, they will have to beat the current champions, and thats not an easy thing to do

I agree with saisrini80. India will win the T20 World Cup 2009!!

Do you remember that KFC T20 Match in Australia at the MCG India were all out for 70

A T20 match cannot be predicted because team like Zimbabwae has defeated a team like Australia !!

I am not sure but Bangladesh defeated West Indies! Right

Still India has 2-1 advantage (we won in the T20 WC and a match in India). Plus we have the experience of actually winning a WC in this format. Also India are more dangerous when we have less overs to play with

Start your guesses for the T20 squad of any team(15-20man squad) and 3 winners will be given 100 X the players they have selected matches with the players selected in the national squad!!

The T20 WC should be the toughest title to defend just because of the fact that it could all change in a few overs and also because the teams play very little of International T20.

Australia, Sri Lanka and West Indies in the same group. Could have put one of those 3 in the India group and taken out Ireland or Bangladesh.

Do you remember the 2 T20 matches that India won in Mumbai and Durban?

Forget it. He's been brainwashed to an immeasurable extent. Australia, Ricky Ponting and Punter are the only words he knows.

India and Australia will start off as favourites however England, South Africa and New Zealand may surprise with their versatility in their all rounders.

Dont underestimate Pakistan, the runners up of the previous edition. They are so used to T20 cricket, and proved that in this format, they can do very well.

Dammit we have both of the world cup shockers in our group :(

I am waiting for India to thump both of them and send them packing. Esp. Yuvraj should just launch every ball into orbit.
