Ideas for Ashes Cricket 2010

how about if there was a hardcore mode where the cursor is not visible at all?

How are you supposed to judge what the ball's doing in time? Especially when a batsman has just come in and his timing window is tiny.

If anything I think they need to sort their presentation out and pay attention to the small things a bit too.

Addling replays and stump sound/animations come to mind, don't see why they changed the stump animations from BLIC2005 they were satisfying.

Agreed. Apart from more content, extra polish is the main thing I want to see from TG's next cricket game.

Get rid of the stupid mis-fields. Everyone seems to have the droppses' when ground fielding.

i woud rather not see it atall you woud lose out on so many singles and it would become harder to get singles which well i would perfer

hi new here (first post) and only had the chance to play the game once or twice but thought I would add my 2cents anyway.

When it comes to fielding on the boundary would it not be better to maybe implement a similar timing mechanism as catching to stop the ball going for four. If you press to early you knock the ball over the rope and to late you miss it.

You could also take it a step further and do this with all fielding. Press early you fumble and late you miss the ball. I imagine doing this with all the fielders throught the game could get a bit much especially in a test match:) but it would be nice to have that manual fielding option in the game especially in 20/20 or certain overs like powerplay overs. Maybe it would add a little more to the gameplay and put more control in your hands!

Anywayz it just an idea. Hope something like that isnt in the game already, then im gonna feel pretty stupid:doh

If it is forget i was ever here:spy

I like it - good one! That would make the fielding interactive, as well as everything else. Nice first post! :thumbs

Excellent Idea !!!

How about firing your entire graphics department and hiring people like Kabooka to make the kits and some other PC members to make the faces.

Seriously pathetic how bad they mucked up people like Flintoff (who likes like he is on chemo in the game), I have seen better faces made by teenagers on PC

I was told an interesting story about this. Basically that they submit the likenesses to the ECB or whoever the license holder is to get the OK. Sometimes they'll be told they need to improve, and other times the likeness is given the green light.

A problem can arise where a likeness which the art dept. are not totally happy with gets sent for verification, and the license holder gives it the OK. At this point, they cannot change it, so something like that might have happened with Flintoff.

I suspect EA may well somewhat own him. How good was Ricky Ponting's face in C07 compared to the rest of the team? (I never could tell any of them apart)
