Two things Imran Khan said that I definitely agree with.
First, the wicket's a bowler's graveyard. Unless a bowler bowls exceptionally well or the batsmen throw their wickets away, it's going to be very hard to get 20 wickets.
All fingers point to a Lame Draw.
Secondly, he said that Indian medium-pacers though they can swing the ball, lack the speed to defeat a batsman's reflexes on flat subcontinental wickets. I have also always thought that movement in the air or off the pitch has to have pace to make it more effective, especially on the sub-continent. That gives Shoaib, Rana Naved, and Sami a big edge over the dibly-dobly, pineapple polite, Indian Military-Medium pacers. :cool:

How'd you get this? Don't the teams usually release a twelve man squad and then exchange the team XI's at the toss?

Additionally, does anyone know where the previous India tour of Pakistan thread went? I was trying to look for it. It isn't even in the top replied/viewed threads, which I was sure it was in.

I agree with Dean Jone's comments that India are a bowler down and are unlikely to take 20 wickets with only 2 main seamers and 2 spinners. Really Ganguly should of been sacrificed for a bowler surely. Great batting by Younis Kahn today and I expect Inzi to chip in with a decent total.

What about the green and bouncy pitches being talked about before the series ?
I expect a big on on this track by Veeru . Also, I expect a big one from eithr Sachin or Dravid .
India will somehow manage a draw on this one looking at how dead the pitch is !

300+ and Inzy hasnt even walked out to bat. Ominous for India. Pakistan can still win this, since their bowlers rely less on the wicket than Indians, being quicks. Never underestimate the pressure a huge total can put on the team batting second.
