India Team Discussion

Has anyone seen Virat's video regarding "We boosted Shastri's vision"?

This whole KoffeeGate thing is being stretched unnecessarily now. Its turning into a case of one upmanship for the officials in-charge.

One series ban is more than enough for this mistake, which did not even happen on the cricket field. CoA official coming up with stupid reasons like the apology is not sincere and feels like it has been published by an agency is ridiculous. Pandya clearly said in the show that he can barely read/write his name. You expect him to write a public apology on his own?

This chapter should be closed asap and focus should go back to cricket

Funnily enough, the pro-woman-empowerment Bollywood stars are silent on Pandya/Rahul's partner in crime Karan Johar sniggering and giggling and laughing at all those jokes that were made. Probably hopeful that they will land a Dharma production movie some time in the future, so dont want to ruffle any feathers

Finally something good has happened on an Overseas tour for us in the last decade, it was like everything came our way. Had it been not for the weather we had the result as 2-1 victory in T20Is, 3-1 in Tests and 2-1 in ODIs and most satisfying thing was it came in Australia which have been the worst place to tour for an Indian side. I have been following Indian Cricket since 2010 as a 10 year old and what all happened after 2011 I strongly wished that there should be an Indian side which would dominate in all 3 formats in an Overseas tour in SENA countries and today it came true. So satisfying this !!!! In 2011 I had completely lost hopes with this team to win in Overseas conditions but I always had to patience to get stuck with this team and everytime I had a hope that we would win somewhere during the 2014 Overseas tours, yes I was disappointed that time but the way we performed in 2015 WC I just thought we would be a dominant team in Overseas conditions in the years to come. Today all that patience, all that hopes and all that confidence beared fruit. This is a win for entire Cricket fans in India who support Indian Cricket. Well done India !!!!!

Our preparations for The big WC are in full flow now. Just need the players to step up now. Our core for the squad is ready, we have started to get the balance right now. Now it comes down to maintaining the fitness levels, the consistency, the quality of Cricket and most importantly stepping up on the big occasion to get the result our way. Let's get back the Cup from Australia !!!!!!

Rahul Dravid's Interview on Pandya-Rahul controversy
http://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/25850129/pandya-rahul-certainly-role-models-rahul-dravid

Oh my god, I absolutely love this man every time he speaks!! He is truly an angel that Indian cricket needs to hold onto. And I am happy that certain younger players like Pujara, Rahane, etc get their personalities inspired from this great man. I hope more players in the future imbibe qualities from Dravid! And I truly pray that Dravid stays with the young kids at the grassroot level, for as long as humanly possible for him. I know that Pandya and Rahul displayed their characters despite being coached by Dravid at some point and so Dravid's personality is not going to rub off on everyone. But even if it does on a few that go on to play Indian cricket, it would be great.

Loved that interview. I had the same thoughts. What an absolute gentleman

This is pathetic from the Chinaswamy crowd. Pujara was absolutely right to not walk. Even a senior player like Vinay Kumar questioning Pujara is very unprofessional and desperate

Yeah ! When there are everywhere talks about the "Pride of the umpires" should be preserved (It's seen in case of umpire's call), then why should the players go back to the pavilion without the consent of the umpires !

Think even if Pharaoh walked back, Saurashstra would have won looking how things have gone so far,but yes it's the job of umpires and not Pujara's

Lastly Vinay Kumar should be the last person to say so, considering his "excellent Indian records"
