Unfortunately it was none other than our skipper who brought in some controversies with himself right ahead of the Final. But Kohli's Captaincy have still come a long way.
It was his decision or his teams if they won I doubt

Pant has been quite sloppy behind the wickets in this T20 series against BD
Saha's selection for Tests seems to be a very good decision, because keeping wise even a not 100% Saha seems better than Pant at his best
Do you think that someone like KL Rahul can be benefited by it as well. I do feel if he gets more of T20 Cricket under his belt he would surely be more confident and would surely help him become a 3-format player for the years to come.If the BCCI were a more competent and smart organisation, they would allow a few Indian players to participate in the BBL seeing that the World Cup next year will be held in Australia with it's own unique challenges of big boundaries and bouncy pitches. A small list of players that would surely benefit from the top of my head...
- Dhawan. An aggressive opener in ODIs, he has looked out of nick in recent T20Is and has in general been a more conservative player in T20s for some reason. A stint with one of the Melbourne clubs where he currently resides could help him rediscover his aggressive style. Overseas openers aren't usually in demand but having a world class batsman like Dhawan would surely tempt any franchise, even if he is only present for a short period.
- Pant. If he isn't going to take any break, he is on track to being dropped soon and left to languish in the domestic scene for a while. What better to rejuvenate than play in front of capacity crowds that took a huge liking to him last summer for his antics? Will surely be in demand given the lack of aggressive domestic batsmen proficient versus spin to bat in the middle overs for most teams.
- Sundar. Overseas spinners have always been a big success in the BBL due to the lack of domestic options and someone like Sundar who can bowl in the powerplay will be in high demand. Did I mention that he has the potential to be a pinch-hitter too?
- Krunal. Seems to have lost that extra gear of aggression that made people believe that he was a better batsman than his brother once upon a time. Can bowl four overs of accurate, handy spin and is a fine fielder too. What's not to like?
- Saini. A player that wouldn't really be in demand given that the Aussies aren't really bereft of domestic options, but Saini is a genuine quick who had a reasonable IPL and could be of use to a team that needs some serious pace.
- Deepak Chahar. Not as quick as his compatriot, but Chahar is a wily bowler who is quickly becoming a lot more versatile rather than be limited to an opening bowler who relies on swing. Has been extremely crucial to CSK over the last two years and that experience might tempt a side to nab him.
Absolutely spot on! I understand that brand value is everything, but imagine you allowing these players to play in BBL, India somehow end up winning the WC and that again igniting interest in IPL? Its a win win situation. One season will do no harm at all.If the BCCI were a more competent and smart organisation, they would allow a few Indian players to participate in the BBL seeing that the World Cup next year will be held in Australia with it's own unique challenges of big boundaries and bouncy pitches. I am so glad that Rishabh Pant has failed miserably. Hopefully he never plays for India again. Unfortunately, the likes of Bumrah and Hardik will now be backed in an even more biased fashion than they were previously, just so the nationalist government and BCCI can retain the primacy of the show-off, vile IPL. The way Bumrah was upgraded to Tests in front of Umesh was an absolute disgrace, something I'll never forget. Here's hoping that the media bias towards Bumrah and Pant has ended.
I don't see any sarcasm in it to be honest. Those are just his poor views. I mean how on Earth can you be happy when a player full of talent and potential fails on a big stage. Just pathetic !!!Hmm... The tone of this post, eerily reminds me of that guy "bumrahfan" who used to post sarcasm after sarcasm because he thought everyone here was scheming evil against his favorites (even though some of his favorites like Bumrah made us all eat humble pie).
MSK Prasad and Team want to go out on a high, and high they are!!! Samson excluded from the T20I squad despite not being given a single game against Bangladesh in that T20I series. And Samson knows the "3D glasses of Rayudu" issue and very smartly posts a laughing smiley on his Twitter account.
I know people have special fantasies about Rishabh Pant, but he has been consistently inconsistent and this has been happening for a very long time now. Its time others are given a chance and have Pant fight for his spot. Looks like under this captain-coach combine, certain people are given long runs but certain others are given very strict and tight timelines.
Anyways this's just a typical rant, that I will probably rant again sometime in the future!
However, we can't ignore the fact that Sanu Samson does not fit in current T20 line-up of India. Which position do you want him to bat? We have Dhawan opening even though it should be KL Rahul.
Any position after 4 is not for Sanju Samson because he is not a power player like Pant. He needs to bat in top 3 to get the best out of him and that is simply not possible in the current Indian line-up.
