Ajay Jadeja is the most loved cricketer in Pakistan at the moment. :)

Do you guys think Yuvi should come at 2 down instead of Raina when 2nd wicket falls before 10th over. What I feel is Raina doesn't play sensibly under the conditions like it was yesterday. It is clearly evident from the match against Pakistan and yesterday. Yes, yuvi too failed yesterday. But, I feel yuvi should be moved up. What do you guys think ?

Agree, Yuvi should come down after Kohli instead of Raina. Yuvi is far more experienced than Raina and yes he plays more sensibly than Raina

Dont think so...he had hard hands and he likes to score in an aggresive way...It would be a balanced side if rahane was replaced by manish padey...so that they can get an extra option for selecting him instead of uv...

So you are saying that he was dropped from the team for the way he performed after 4 years? Very funny. :p

I think you got to know that Selectors have a "time machine" through which they saw the future and dropped him 4 years ago. Very insensible. :p
Sorry completely missed the plot out there....lol:p

Today we have seen something unbelievable. A team which could not make 2 runs of 3 balls and that too in against an allrounder. WOW

Salute to MSD and Nehra for their tactics..

And also to pandya as dhoni has said that we might have lost the match if pandya had not executed my plan.

Things that made #India win the match against #Bangladesh:

  1. Even though Bumrah had a bad day, Dhoni had faith in him & he conceded only 5 or 6 runs in the penultimate over
  2. Jadeja's athletism & wickets
  3. Dhoni had taken out his gloves & was ready to run out in the last ball
  4. conersation between Dhoni and Nehra through which Pandya kept his nerves
  5. HEROES------------ MSD,PANDYA,JADEJA,NEHRA,BUMRAH
WHAT DO U GUYS FEEL ABOUT THIS THRILLER WITH CLIMAX PART

Here's the WT20 discussion thread guys: ICC World T20 India 2016 - March/April 2016 - International Tours and Events on PlanetCricket Forums

After all those ups and downs, we are in Semis.Hoping for another star on India's jersey. :)

Don't you all think that we are over deppenendent on Virat? No doubt he is a very good player but to be over deppenendent on anyone isn't good for the team in future

Krishnaswamy: India need to rethink jaded T20 template | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

Some really good points has been in this article. The brand of cricket that India needs to play in T20 especially on surfaces like the one we had yesterday. The players we need in this format who can make the best use of 20 overs. As much as I like Rahane, I have to agree that his inning yesterday was one of the reason why we didn't post a big score. HOWEVER, it's not his fault because this is the strategy that our team management came up with and he was the perfect guy to execute that. Also he did his job to perfection but it was the "Strategy" that was always wrong. Even though Rohit can be very dangerous once he gets going, it is the same with him. He takes too much time to get settled. He plays too many dot balls upfront to get settled, to see how pitch is behaving. As I said, he is as good as anyone once he gets settled but he is taking a bit too much time to get settled which also hurts India.

I don't have any problem with Kohli because even though he is not as strong as likes of Gayle and Russel, he can still score quickly because he rarely plays a dot ball. Runs extremly hard between wickets and puts pressure on fielders. I can say the same about Dhoni.

Another concern is Yuvraj and Raina's spot in this WC. Even though Yuvraj did play a couple of useful cameos, he has struggled. He hasn't looked even a half of the player that he was. I really think it's time to move on from Yuvraj and I am pretty sure we have seen last of Yuvraj in the Indian jersey. Raina is another person who has been a big problem for India for a while now. His poor form is hurting India a lot. We have invested a lot of time in Raina but if he isn't firing when India needs him the most, it's difficult to see him in the team. Especially now that Manish Pandey has come in.

All this while, the selectors have shown great reluctance to blood a generation of young batsmen with new-age T20 techniques and excellent first-class records. Karun Nair is a brilliant exponent of the reverse-sweep, Shreyas Iyer upsets bowlers' lengths by taking stance outside his crease or deep within it, Suryakumar Yadav plays the scoop over short fine leg from the moment he steps into the crease, and Deepak Hooda hits bigger sixes than most Indian batsmen. All have been important cogs in their IPL teams, and all have 40-plus first-class averages, with Nair and Iyer averaging over 50. All are aged between 20 and 25.
