India tour of Bangladesh, 2022 (3 ODIs, 2 Tests)

Commentator goes: "Taskin Ahmed, no muck with the bat but can't expect too much from him." Man! nobody is expecting Bangladesh to chase the target at this point, heck not with Taskin. Just try and hear your thoughts in mind for a sec before spilling it out. I am glad I didn't listen to the commentary of the previous two matches.

He's another one whom I don't want to see in limited overs . Soon he would be out from the tests too ...
Me neither. I would have an injured Deepak Chahar ahead of him any day. Mediocre bowler and an unsuitable batsman for limited overs especially where he bats in the side and not good enough to break into the Test side as a genuine#6/#7 batsman especially with Jaddu, Hardik and Washington.

TBH, I hope this win doesn't hide all the shortcomings that India have had to deal with in the recent past. There is no intent shown by our batsmen, our main seamers (Bumrah, Shami, Chahar) are always injured the backups are not potent enough. Heck even the experienced players like KL and Bhuvi have been playing bizarre cricket.

Another 10th wicket victory incoming? :p

It was fun while it lasted though
Bangladesh have done exceedingly well at home. They have been virtually unbeatable in the past few series. Brilliant from them. Miraz is the biggest positive from this series while India would want to nurture Umran, Ishan and Washington unless they go brainless yet again. I am concerned about the recurring injury of Deepak Chahar, it is the reason why India has to resort to Thakur in limited overs where has been found wanting time and time again.

I wish the selectors try and work towards putting together a young team for the long run.

Gill
Ishan
Virat
Shreyas
KL/Sky
Hardik
Jadeja
Umran/Washington
Kuldeep/Chahal
Shami
Bumrah

12th man: Arshdeep. Sorry, I am not a huge fan of Siraj as though he is a wicket taking option, he is usually very expensive. I would give a nod to Umran for that role (expensive but wickettaker) since he has the X factor of searing pace.

K. Rahul will lead india in first test match vs Bangladesh. Pujara will be vice captain. Abhimanu Eshwaran ( 2 century for ind A in un official test vs BD A )& Delhi's N. Saini, umesh yadav included in the indian team also un -capped Saurav kumar included

I can see Axar/ Ashwin & Kuldeep yadav all 3 includes in 2nd dhaka test

Not that it matters but Cheteshwar Pujara now the vice-captain when Pant has been sensational in the Test format and was the VC last match he scored a 100. This makes no sense but so does Indian Cricket now a days. I have so much to say but I would hate to waste my time right now. Probably will put together my thoughts when I have nothing productive to do.

Yawn. Woke up only to watch thar KLR the captain had already been shoved down our throat and he already found shelter back in dressing room.

Jamball cricket is so boring to watch
