We had Sundar and Shardul at Gabba. Here we have Ishant, Shami, Bumrah and Siraj.
England just need few more overs to wipe out indian tail. Remember India are playing with 4 bowlers. So, its England's game now sadly.
Don't think it would be fair to expect that to happen again. Besides, the upcoming batsmen are Bumrah, Shami and Siraj. We would be very lucky if we get 10 runs (combined) from them.
You guys were saying something? :rolleyes

Although I agree that even I wasn't as confident but I knew something is going to happen for sure.

Not too sure we can declare now or wait for another 25-30 minutes.

Nilayami...

I'm shocked, pleasantly shocked.

Read the lines in the commentary that said Shami looked assured while batting for most part. He is usually someone who just tries to swat his way out. So that's encouraging. Perhaps he can bat a bit.

Disappointed with the Anderson v Bumrah battle. I was hoping to see some bodyline from him too. There was chatter though I heard.

Kohli should declare now. Gotta keep England interested too. I do think they still might be interested given that they have the firepower, so things could become real interesting.

I dont think you can claim any percent of 'I told you so' on the basis of 'I knew something is going to happen' :spy

As an overly optimistic fan on the inside (on the outside, a solid reverse jinxer), I feel like our tail will also do something special and add 200 runs, and then run the opposition down for 60 all out :p:p

Shamidulkar wants a change in thigh pad.

Get out first ball after change?

Oh nearly

Couldn't believe it when I opened the score a few minutes ago. Our tail played superbly for once, amazing fightback from Shami and Bumrah, gives India a chance a shot at victory if England choose to go for it. But most likely Dom Sibley will play a blockathon and England will end up 170/3 at the end of the day.

Shami and Bumrah have batted better than Virat, Pujara, and Rahane in this series.

Taking nothing away from Shami/Bumrah I think we wouldn't have been in this position without the way Pujara & Rahane played yesterday.
70 (Pujara) and 67 (Rahane) runs in two matches are not enough for test specialist experienced batsmen.
