Frustrating session for the Indian bowlers!!!!!!!!!

England marching towards an easy win.

2-1! You read it here first, I'm not watching a ball tomorrow unless Jadeja is hit and Ashwin is on.

a 'concussion substitute'
I'd prefer if we get football like subs. in cricket particularly tests, it'll change the dynamics completely, and make it a lot more interesting. Consider a scenario where Kohli picked an XI where he messed up completely with the pitch and now he needs Ashwin in, he can bring him in at any stage of the game, but if it's for Jadeja then Jadeja's done for the game. This will be an excellent addition if it happens and we won't need to hit Jadeja to get Ashwin in too.

India did it at the Gabba and they might be at the receiving end this time.
Got an eerie feeling that this will come true. England will do a India (although the odds aren't that stacked against them in this match). The pitch seems to be good for batting and unless England become very generous like the 1st Innings where some just threw their wickets away, I see them scoring around 290 by Tea break. That's a scary prospect to imagine.

Ye kuch jyada nahi ho gaya , matlab reverse jinx bhi karna hai aur logic bhi nahi lagana hai

Trans - This is just too much. I mean reverse Jinxing is one thing but defying logic is another.

I meant the total score (77 + <whatever it takes to get to 290>), i.e around 210 in two sessions isn't that far fetched I would say :p

The first session is where the run scoring is expected to be slow. Once it's negotiated, batting would be easy for a set batsman - ergo increase in run rate.

It's not a OD-game. :facepalm

I certainly hope England think the same. But yesterday's show by the openers should give them good enough confidence that it's chase-able. Let's wait and watch.....

England are already ahead and India need some turn around to win. England are easily winning this one atm but to do that is 55-60 overs looks highly improbable. Looks we are short by a 100. We did not score as much in the 1st innings which is equally hurting. Yes, it was seaming around a bit but it was same at Lord's where we scored 360+

Hmm...aren't we both stating the same thing?

Never implied they would do it in 60 overs. That would be a ridiculous thing to say.

You did say that England are going to score 290 by Tea. We couldn't get more than 55-60 or at best 65 overs before Tea.
