India tour of South Africa - 2013/14

Turning out to be a rather depressing end as an Indian supporter. SA are cruising to a win here. Sad, but true. One more question. Where is Shami?

This match is over and I think Dhoni knows it. There has been zero change in tactics. Hoping that the same bowlers who have so far gained you 2 and a half wickets in 120 overs will suddenly gain you another bunch of wickets isn't really strategy.

Full credit to De Villiers, Du Plessis, and Petersen - they've exposed our bowlers for the average performers that they are.

Why in god's name is Zaheer bowling? He's looked awful, he hasn't changed his angle of attack at all, and given up a boundary ball each over. And it's not like he's reversing it or getting a bunch of wickets.

What a horrible turnaround for India? From being in a dominant position, to now getting close to losing this test match!!! No matter how flat the pitch is, they should have atleast been in a better position to have saved this match by now.

WTF!!!
There is a complete turn-around in this match.:facepalm
I really won't be able to accept a Indian defeat now.
What is the weather like? Any chance of the predicted storm?

Its getting crazy now. :mad I can't receive anything horrible now. :facepalm

As an Indian fan, I understand where you're coming from. However, hoping for rain is loser talk. You have to applaud a superior effort. The South Africans batted their hearts out, and they deserve a win. There's no honor in being saved by rain.

Besides, a few losses will be good for the mental development of this young, budding team.

My heart goes out to Kohli though. He's outperformed everyone in this match, and was 6 short of getting 2 centuries, which I'm sure was devastating to him. Now, his team is going to lose despite his performance for a double blow to the crotch.

And a wicket is achieved out of no-where. :)

Yes it has. But perhaps too late. It'll take close to a miracle for an Indian win.

Doesn't stop me from hoping for that miracle though :cheers

Where the fearsome tweak was that bounce till AB and Faf were batting?

A good important wicket for us. Indians would be surely relieved now. But still they can't take it easy, as JP Duminy is still to come. However if they are able to struggle him early in his innings and don't let him get settle, there's a good chance to get his wicket. Hoping for the best though. And then we have a bit of batting from Philander. Steyn and Tahir won't be much of a threat anyways.
Fingers crossed.

And thats what I was talking about!! Test match cricket at its best.

:lol Probably Indians required my bloody luck, have been tracking down the scores since I posted here and everything is going well. ;)

been awesome batting from these two.

I would love to see them attacking for 5-6 overs but lose a couple of wickets for a nail biting finish.

Got your wish. Now what!
