This is ridiculous, there are perfectly good lights in the stadium, so use them, having the match end like this is a farce. The half hour lunch break was stupity, the break between innings in a Test match is 10 minutes, so why is it half hour in ODi's? Pretty annoying end to the game, we didn't get enough runs again though, so we've only got ourselves to blame. We need more runs, Pietersen needs to start scoring and hit Yuvraj-esque form and then we need to get wickets. Broad bowled well, as did Flintoff, seems we've only got 2 reliable bowlers atm.

In test cricket, the players don't play for 7 hours straight with only 10 minutes and drinks breaks. The players need time to physically and mentally recuperate, and half an hour is a minimum. The players also run around a lot more in ODIs. This is cricket in India. Prior and Shah had bouts of cramp the last game. The players need rest.

Sachin's comeback will be more painful for the England team . the were looking good at the start and KP's decision of putting Ravi up the order did worked, but they have to try more things "Sehwag, Gautam, YUVRAJ, Yusuf, Dhoni, Bhajji, Zaheer and Now Sachin! This guys are in such a form that no one can ignore them and take lightly. Sleepless nights for the opposition.

KP is such a bull. Not shaked hands with Indian upmire as if he was one controlling switch of the floodlights.

He should be fined and banned.

Also floodlight agreement is done before series start between teams. There is no point carrying on discussing it. And if England believes they would have won from that position they are dreaming. Even Dadaji can score against them in India.

Lastly Day/Night games are best unavoidable in India sue to due factor.Since we dont play ODI games in our summer season (April - August) due factor will always hamper sides.

Always going to be controversy after a match ends in an ODI due to badlightand D/L...But thats Cricket.

Happy with Bhajji today, Man of the Series played a good knock of 38 but Sehwag was the spear in our batting today. Ishant was somewhat expensive and Zaheer was economical as ever...Munaf was the best seamer. And once again YK Pathan my man does it again by getting the big wicket of Flintoff. Overall decent win, Am expecting 7-0.

They had taken the 20 minute break, which could have been shortened to 10 minutes as they use in test matches for innings change.

The use of floodlights is pre-decided between the two teams in case of day games and is totally on the discretion of both captains to use it and has to be decided before the series.

It should have been taken into consideration as it is quite usual to have fog in these parts of countries around this time.

Yes the rules are somewhat baffling to say the least. It has happened recently in newzealand v england in natwest trophy 2008 where england was the benefeciary.

there shouldn't be any day matches in winters as day is short in winters, only day/night matches. it would solve the problem. icc should think about this
- this would not cause problem starting due to fog
- and match would go well during optimum temperature of the day.

But then there is problem of due at night, matches in winter should be held in South India like chennai, bangalore etc.

Harbhajan Singh on Thursday said bowling slower in the air than what he did in the earlier two matches did the trick as he scalped three crucial England wickets to fashion India's win in the third One-dayer.

Yes he was bolwing a bit faster and flat before that,if he bowls like this (giving more air to the ball)he will definately be more economical,and will be getting more wickets,lets see how he bolws in remaining 4 matches.But i feel it would have been really inetresting to see Mishra and Harbhajan both playing,because Eng cant play to spinners we have seen that Yuvi picking 4 wickets,Sehwag got few,harbhajan got 3 last match,but Mishra is not occasional bowler like yuvi or Sehwag.
