Well very interesting news, it seems every corner the ICL turn the IPL is following, heard that the IPL is planning to play 20-20 outside of India as a means of making back some of the millions they spent buying teams. They said that television rights, sale of CDs and clothing was not enough and they looking to play games in North America that have large Indian populations to cash in.
Am certain I heard the ICL making the same statements. Am happy for both, the question is why the hostility to wards the ICL.

I was just clarifying the error. Nothing personal intended.
Because the money that ZEE earns from the ICL is in no way going back to cricket. That is the major bone of contention.

Ok and you are saying that the money earned by the IPL goes back into cricket. Fair enough, but please for those of us that do not know this, expound on your statement.

In fact, I think Zee is putting more back into the game than the BCCI are with their tournaments for the Indian youngsters which they held earlier this year. At least with the likes of former stars like Kapil Dev, there's a real feeling that he cares about the upcoming talent.
So I disagree with you entirely on this point.

After the extremely crap commentary and coverage on Sony Max in the IPL I'm actually looking forward to hearing the likes of Tony Greig and Dean Jones again in the ICL.
But apart from that, T 20 has probably been milked so much that it's become quite boring now.

It might be that, but it has done a lot for unveiling new talent for not only India but Australia as well.
Besides, what it comes out as is fantasy cricket come to life.
I agree. though some of my favourite commentators are commentating in the IPL, it's quite pathetic.
I don't know why they don't let Dean Jones commentate international matches.
One just cant disagree on this front.Probably the worst faces. If Venkatesh Prasad,Charu Sharma,Mandira Bedi and Robin Singh were not hired by the franchisees,they probably would have added to the party.
Your second point makes a helluva lot of sense.Any more T20's and ppl will start puking,atleast the purists of the game.
Soem of your favorites- Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri.I'm pretty much sure that they are only in the First edition.And they might be there only cause both are on the governing panel of the IPL.
Dean Jones is allowed international commentry.Only,he is stuck with ZEE,and they do not have any international matches as of now.
