The Punjab Kings scale Royal Challengers Bengaluru's 319 with Anuj Rawat and Arshdeep Singh putting together a valiant last-wicket stand to see them across the finish line. Kings' run chase was powered by Ruturaj Gaikwad's third hundred of the season, but it certainly wouldn't have materialized without Anuj Rawat's 73 not out.
Anuj Rawat played a match-winning knock off the back of his captain's century, and added 35 runs for the final wicket alongside Arshdeep Singh after the Kings' chase was jolted by the brilliance of Jasprit Bumrah, who struck twice in his final over to leave the Kings reeling at 275 for 8, still 45 runs away from victory. While Jasprit Bumrah finished the game with a 5-fer to his name, the Royal Challengers' attack failed to get the job done as Anuj Rawat and Arshdeep Singh's resilience prevailed for a crucial win.
