Faheem falters fabulously! Faheem Ashraf was looking like a goose with a bat against Rashid Khan, who inevitably gets his wicket to further dent Lahore's prospects of getting to 300.

Two wickets in the over for Matt Henry, he manages to save face (somewhat) after being taken for 72 runs in his 10.0 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad have done a fabulous job of restricting Lahore Qalandars in the final overs. Sensational death-bowling for the men in orange.

A lackluster finish to Qalandars' innings. They could only muster up 65 runs in the last 10.0 overs of their innings despite having 6 wickets in the bank. Sunrisers were sensational with their death-bowling even if they weren't able to win the battle during the middle-overs.

Lahore will be rueing the fact they could only score 65 runs in their final 10.0 overs despite being in such a commanding position, but credit where credit is due, Sunrisers Hyderabad pulled things back at the end with Rashid Khan leading the pack. The wrist-spinner from Nangarhar finished with 3 scalps to his name, topping the bowling chart for Hyderabad. Chama Milind and Sandeep Sharma were pretty effective too, with two wickets apiece. Matt Henry and Rahul Chahar on the other hand, were taken to the cleaners. Matt Henry did manage to save face by picking-up two wickets in his final over.

Lahore's innings was headlined by fifties from Haider Ali, Kane WIlliamson, Ben Stokes and Azam Khan. Coincidentally, those four were the only batters in Lahore's lineup to crack into double-figures. None of those batters could convert their fifties into a hundred, but they were just about sufficient in pushing Lahore to a formidable 297/9. Ahmed Shehzad mimicked Saud Shakeel's failure from the previous game, whereas Eoin Morgan failed to deliver after scoring a stoic fifty in the previous game. It was the same old, same old from Lahore's lower-order with Faheem Ashraf's failure being the most glaring drawback.

DÉJÀ VU - Mitchell Starc delivers a lethal blow in the very first over of the innings, yet again. Mitchell Starc makes Tilak Varma find a thin edge straight to the wicket keeper. Mitchell Starc dismissed David Warner in the first over of the innings in the previous game, in the exact same manner. Lahore Qalandars will be mighty happy if this ends up becoming a tradition.

WRECK-IT RAUF - Haris Rauf backs Sunrisers Hyderabad into a corner with a double-wicket maiden in his first over. He dismisses Rassie van der Dussen and Hanuma Vihari as Hyderabad lose their middle-order for peanuts in the space of three deliveries. A lot of heavy-lifting left to be done by Babar Azam and Rishabh Pant, two batters more than capable of pulling off the job.

WICKET-MAIDEN - Faheem Ashraf delivers a perfect 44th-over and all Rashid Khan can do is watch from the non-striker's end. That'll do it! That will rejuvenate Sunrisers Hyderabad! Rashid Khan makes mincemeat out of Mitchell Starc by walloping him for three colossal sixes in the exact same region over mid-wicket. Mitchell Starc is failing to find the yorker, and he will probably be tasked to bowl another pivotal over.

KHAN YOU BELIEVE IT - I can not believe it! Rashid Khan is wasting no opportunities! An expensive start to the over put Shahnawaz Dahani in the pressure cooker, but not only did he manage to pull things back, he nearly dismissed Rashid Khan, only for Haider Ali to grass a difficult but catch-able take. With forty runs required off the last twelve deliveries and Rashid Khan on-strike, Hyderabad will be looking to target the penultimate over. Especially if it is being bowled by Mitchell Starc.

It was more or less a one man show from Rashid Khan as he led with both the bat and the ball for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was greatly let down by his teammates who failed to muster up anything as special as his performance. KL Rahul got off to a good start only to throw his wicket away on a wild slog, and while Babar Azam was his usual self with a classy fifty, he found the most inopportune moment to lose his wicket and send his team on a downward spiral. Rishabh Pant tried his best with a brisk knock down the order, but he too was overcome in the end. Rashid Khan fought like a lone wolf, but to an ultimately defeated fate. Perhaps the most glaring flaw in Hyderabad's run-chase was two of their main cogs in the middle-order being skittled for peanuts.

Haris Rauf delivered a one-two combo in the same over to dismiss Rassie van der Dussen and Hanuma Vihari for ducks, leaving all burden of constructing the chase on Babar Azam and Rishabh Pant. Two names more than capable of doing so, but on this occasion, they succumbed to the aforementioned Haris Rauf coming back into the attack and getting the better of Babar Azam, and Usman Qadir delivering a perfectly deceptive googly to Rishabh Pant. Haris Rauf finished with 4 wickets to his name, and by far, delivered the best bowling performance of The Super Cup. Usman Qadir was a little on the expensive side, but finished with two crucial wickets to his name. Faheem Ashraf and Mitchell Starc picked-up a wicket each with questionable economy.

Rajasthan Royals lose another! This is the qualifier all over again for them, except they don't have Martin Guptill at the crease to play an all-timer. Faheem Ashraf gets his second wicket of the game in only his second over.

Oh dear, oh dear! Lahore Qalandars wrap up Rajasthan Royals' tail in the space of 9 deliveries and all Ravindra Jadeja can do is watch the destruction from the non-striker's end. Presumably, Rajasthan's former captain was waiting for the death-overs before unleashing an all-out assault to push his team to a formidable total. Little did he know, he would run out of partners at the other end, in an over-and-a-half.

An underwhelming total from Rajasthan Royals, very reminiscent of their Champions League final debacle. Rajasthan Royals were backed into a corner early on with Faheem Ashraf picking-up a wicket each in his first two overs, reducing Rajasthan to 14 for 2. David Warner stepped-up and top-scored with a dominant 87, which came off of just 90 deliveries. His knock formed the backbone of Rajasthan's innings, which was sorely needed given their start. Suryakumar Yadav started off well, but an untimely dismissal undermined his hard graft. Rajasthan continued to slump further down due to a constant fall of wickets, which was temporarily brought to a halt by Ankit Bawne's watchful knock, only for it to be undone by a collapse towards the end. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 25 as he saw his team's last 5 wickets fall for 10 runs in 19 deliveries. A tragic collapse which compromised Rajasthan's grip on the game, perhaps irreversibly.

Faheem Ashraf and Mitchell Starc shared 5 wickets between themselves, a massive positive for Lahore Qalandars given how disappointing their new ball antics had been in the previous two games. Haris Rauf finished wicketless which came as a massive shock, considering he had been the leading-wicket taker in The Super Cup coming into this game. Usman Qadir and Shahnawaz Dahani impressed once more with two scalps apiece, further proving their case of being massively underutilized by Pakistan's national side as permanent benchwarmers.

Led by the domineering fast-bowling duo of Shaheen Afridi and Kagiso Rabada, Rajasthan Royals reached the aforementioned Champions League final only for it to be stunk up by their batters against arguably the greatest side ever assembled on-paper, i.e. Sydney Roosters. They've won two Indian One-Day Championship titles in as many attempts, solely via the strength of their bowling. It would be downright unholy to rule them out of this contest despite their batters only mustering up what they've mustered up. Lahore Qalandars on the other hand, will be fancying their chances of winning The Super Cup greatly, and finally beating Rajasthan Royals for the first time after a third attempt. Can Lahore make history, or will Rajasthan repeat theirs?

A one man show again for us and this time Davey Warner doing the bulk of the scoring. But as I have always told with this batting lineup, we need our Indian batters to step up in each match. It did not happen here and we could not even play out our 50 overs.

But, this is the big final and we have runs on the board. And 210 of those which aren't gonna be easy. If their bowlers can restrict us to that total, our bowlers surely can restrict them to below 210. Our bowlers have gotten into this habit and it is a known territory to them. So if anyone is writing us off after that batting, do it at your own peril. Hopefully our bowlers once again pull a rabbit out of the hat!

Early setback for Rajasthan Royals! Martin Guptill, who carried his bat and the entire team in the qualifier game by scoring an unbeaten 132, walks back for a scanty 5 in the all-important finale!

Rajasthan Royals lose another! This is the qualifier all over again for them, except they don't have Martin Guptill at the crease to play an all-timer. Faheem Ashraf gets his second wicket of the game in only his second over.

How unlucky can he be! Faheem Ashraf breaks the partnership between David Warner and Ankit Bawne as a dominant knock comes to an end, just a few runs short of what would've been a well-deserved hundred for the Australian southpaw.

Kane Williamson had no answer to that! Kagiso Rabada strikes to remove Lahore Qalandars' captain after a promising start. This has been a very forgetful series for Kane Williamson, and if Lahore fall short of the chase in the final, he'll be wishing he isn't able to remember it, at all.

Another one falls! Lahore Qalandars seem to be succumbing to the pressure! Haider Ali departs after a shady lbw decision as Prasidh Krishna sends back the only set-batter for Lahore. Two new men at the crease, and a raging Rajasthan bowling attack... Lahore need just one partnership to get back in the game.

Exceptional comeback from Ravindra Jadeja! He gets the last laugh after being struck for two fours by Ben Stokes earlier in the over. The equation isn't all that hard for Lahore, but the wickets keep tumbling...
