This hurts me. I picked Shakib & Narine in the fantasy team and placed Russell among the reserves just an hour before we had to confirm final lineup. Isn't Eden pitch providing assistance to the spinners anymore like it did in last few years during the IPL? (I remember they used to include three proper spinners.) I thought they'd go for more spinners this year as well, but neither side has picked more than 1 for today's game.

Is Shami still injured though? That would be a real big woe for DD. They can bench any of Morris/Brathwaite/Coulter-Nile for him and get a Duminy in, which would help them score more runs. At the moment, their batting lineup looks like shit.

I think you mean One-sided. The games hasn't been mediocre, it's just good bowling. For example, yesterday, Mumbai went too hard early on when the bowlers were getting some help form surface. In today's game, the inexperience of DD was shown up by some good bowling from KKR bowlers. You don't want to see every match with a score of 180-200.

True. But I only watch the IPL because Indians are damn good at batting and chasing; which makes for good viewing. So far these two games are tediously boring. I don't mind a low scoring game but it is almost inevitable that KKR will get there with time to kill.

Dehli are the worst team in the IPL. I expect Gujarat to make it another one-sided game against KXIP tomorrow. Delhi and Punjab will be the bottom 2 especially with SRH being much stronger in bowling than last year. Mumbai always get off to a poor start by trying to tinker with the last edition's team so much.

Not really. Apart from Malinga, every player is in the squad with the addition of Tim Southee and Jos Buttler. Could get to the playoffs but MI are not winning it .

Nowadays, Narine just helps in containing runs because everyone plays him carefully. Let's see how he performs in next match.

The thing is, DD has done their homework on Delhi batsman as Sunil Gavaskar said on commentary. They have had a very weird but accurate field setting for all their 3 batsmen so far but it's just that they didn't have enough runs on the board. If DD had a score of 150 or 160, I would have loved to see how KKR would have approach this game then.
