He's too good a cricketer for it. He will be fine.

I hope he remains in good shape mentally. While I am not criticizing Sundar opening today, I feel he is a bit mismanaged. Not bowled where he loves to, not given a clear role on where he fits in the XI..

Maxwell can be effective even if he bats in the last 5-6 overs. Why waste AB? The more balls he faces, the better. If Padikkal is unavailable, i'd open with Kohli and AB.
