Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Inverse for us at Chepauk, we won two games due to opposition screwing it. I feel this is not our year.
2013, 2015 & 2019 we had similar/worser starts but we ended up winning the title. I don't want to see them winning this time but I won't write them off either.

True. MI have won the title from worser situations than where they are as of today. I still say that they've an "all weather squad" that can rise up from any situation. I am backing them to go on a hot run anytime that could start in the next 3 games.

CSK will face tougher oppositions in SRH and MI in Delhi. Both SRH and MI have the spinners and the batsmen to adapt to those pitches. Only good thing for CSK is - they get into that "Chepauk style" territory where their spin based squad should like the conditions on offer. We've seen here at Wankhede that whenever the pitch offers grip and turn, CSK run through sides with spinners. Hope that continues at Kotla

All that said, but Bumrah is looking clueless, Boult not being able to do anything much. Lacking a 3rd seamer. Middle order out of sorts. Just too much going at the same time.

Shaw threw a potential hundred there.

Something, I don't wanna hear from an MI fan.
It becomes too predictable then. If MI would keep on winning titles, IPL would lose it's popularity.

I agree your point about Boult, but Bumrah have bowled better all throughout and isn't anywhere near being poor. Boult also had his moments of brilliance.

Williamson is putting on a Masterclass here on how to bat on such a surface.

Sheer Class!

Good chance for Jadhav to redeem himself from that last season. Hope he can support Kane here with a couple of boundaries.

Edit: just as I say that he gets out :facepalm
